Leah's Fan Club & Coming Home

(I am seriously so sad at how behind I've been with blogging. It's not even because of feeling too busy with a baby. And it's not because blogging as a whole is dying. It's because our lamer than lame internet connection has been mostly not working! But as one of the few, die-hard bloggers left...I will catch up! Keeping my family's little stories on here is super important to me.)

Leah's official fan club was established the moment my girls found out I was pregnant. Needless to say, there was a whole lot of excitement in our home when the day finally came for her to arrive.  I thought it was quite fitting and adorable that she was born pretty much the minute the girls got off the bus after school. We called Momoo's phone to tell them the good news and it wasn't long before the happy little crew headed on in to meet their new sister....

It didn't look like it from that first picture I posted of all the kids together, but Everett was actually super excited to hold "it". He was actually a little crazy about it so Momoo had to be on official hold-Everett-back duty.

As it turns out, Everett is also a member of the "Mommy Fan Club" and was equally as excited to see me. When they wheeled me down to my recovery room, Everett sat on my lap, and we had fun telling people that I just gave birth to the world's most ginormous baby.

(This reminds me....I've had a few people who've only seen Leah's name written on this blog double check with how you say it. Leah is just simple and basic (Lee-uh). And her middle name, Cherie (Shuh-ree), is after my grandma (my dad's mom).  Sorry mom. I'm sure whichever kid finds that magical name to name their child that flows with Sherie (Share-ee) as the middle will win the prize as being your favorite. Until then, I will continue to reign supreme.)

Our new and improved family of 6!

I always feel like I should relax and be enjoying my time in the hospital, but I totally don't. I actually get super antsy to get out of there. Leah passed all her tests (she's so smart) so as soon as we got the all clear, we headed home right at the 24 hour mark.

Leah was greeted with an adorable welcome home sign....

And lots of hugs and kisses...

Oh how loved is our little Leah Cherie-a B-eah!!!
