Pink or Blue?!?!

It's a......

GIRL!!!

I guess Tom's dream where we had 3 girls (before we even had kids) is coming true after all! Everett must have been off running around playing in dirt somewhere!

It was a bit of a frustrating ultrasound because the baby wasn't being super cooperative and showing us any clear shots of between the legs. She was too busy shoving her feet and bum way down into my pelvis....which explains my awful sciatic nerve pain this go around. :/ I actually never even really saw the girl parts, but the tech felt like she got enough flashes to make her feel confident it was a girl--otherwise she said she wouldn't have told me. My doctor set me up for another ultrasound next month though to make us feel 100% sure, which I really appreciate!

We spent the night celebrating as a family by going out to dinner, followed by shopping for a cute new outfit for the little miss. Of course we would have celebrated either way (although we may have skipped the clothes shopping if it were a boy ;) ), but more than anything we are just so very happy and know how blessed we are to have another sweet and healthy baby on the way!

Woohoo! I'm so excited for you and that the baby looks strong and healthy. Just a warning though...we were told Abby was a boy at 20 weeks. Then a month later my parents were in town so my doctor was kind enough to do a surprise ultrasound to let them see the baby. The doctor kept hearing us refer to the baby as a "he" and informed us then that this baby was most definitely not a boy but a little girl. It was a bit of a shocker but I was so glad that we found out then rather than in the delivery room. Either way, you two make some adorable children, boy and girl alike!!

No way, Dadra! I never heard that story. Definitely a good warning and that definitely makes me happy that we'll have another ultrasound next month. I just think it would be too crazy to prepare (mostly mentally) for one gender, then be surprised with the other.

Super cute! The announcement, and I'm sure...the baby! And yes, with all the crazy things that could go wrong, it's always wonderful to hear that your baby is healthy and strong. Such a blessing.
