DOGGIES & KITTIES.....and disneyland

So this post should have been written 5 months ago! Hmmmm...I'm 7 months pregnant. You do the math to figure out what my energy level was like back then. I'll give you a hint. There wasn't any. Oh well. Better late than never, I say!

The week before Halloween, the girls and I headed down for a combined Vegas/Disneyland trip with the boy cousins (the girl cousins trip was cutting it too close to my due date). Tom affectionately named the trip, "DOGGIES & KITTIES!!!!....and disneyland." Seriously, Disneyland doesn't have anything on my parents' dogs and cat. For reals. My children should live on a farm. Or at least in a pet store.

After about 4 days we managed to drag the girls to California for 2 tortuous days at Disneyland. Seriously, could my kids look any less thrilled? Really, they had fun. This was just an unhappy moment I suppose. (I know, forbidden at Disneyland!) I would say that the highlight for Miss Reese was meeting Rapunzel. The movie hadn't come out yet, but she listened so intently as I told her the story as we waited in line. She asked me to repeat it probably 10 times. Reese had a freak out moment though when we got in the building and saw that Rapunzel's prince was there as well. Men scare her. She didn't cry, but she clung to me and was seriously shaking. Even with the scary prince, her love for Rapunzel began that day. She's already requesting a Rapunzel birthday party!! Tom just laughs and tells me that I bring the whole birthday thing upon myself. It's true. I love Flynn's face here! Claire's Disneyland highlights included being held by sweet cousin Noah... and giving Mickey kisses. She didn't seem too fond of any of the other characters, but she surprisingly went right in for the smooch with Mickey!
Some other fun moments from the trip....

And that, my friends, was Vegas and Disneyland 5 months ago!!!

2 months prego and you did all that!! You're a super stud. I don't know why you didn't have your cruella costume with you for that photo. I hope you told her she's your hero.

First of all I have to tell you I was laughing out loud at your comment you left on my blog. Yes, I do watch The Amazing Race! I love getting ideas for my halloween party since it's kind of like that race... just on a much, much smaller budget. And I always think every time they get into the cars, "Why don't they have automatic cars?! Geeze!" So now, yes, I could go on the adventure!

And then I was reading your post and showed Andy the awesome picture of you and Cruella Deville. I reminded him that you dressed up as her for halloween and Andy said, "Is that Tom?" I was ready to fall to the floor laughing. What kind of weirdo am I married to... and thinks you are married to an even weirder one? :D

Thought I had to share!!!

You and Rapunzel look like twinners. You just need a blonde wig.
