I got out of the shower yesterday morning and was greeted by this...
"Cwaire bonked her head," and big sister decided to take care of her. 3 band-aids across the forehead/hair definitely seemed to make it feel better. (Band-aids really are magical, aren't they?)
Besides the obvious fighting that goes on, they really are overall pretty sweet together. Lately, Reese has been protesting Claire's naps. "No! 5 more minutes!" Or it's been, "Is Cwaire awake?" Or "I think I hear Cwaire." She clearly doesn't hear Claire, she just wants me to get her up so they can play. This is much better than a few weeks ago when Reese was telling me, "I think Cwaire needs to take a nap." (Which always happened to be when Claire was in her way.)And lately, Claire has even been putting up with this...
Look at those little feet way off the floor! This scene seriously happened about 100 times yesterday. Reese told me, "I'm trying to keep her safe." Umm...I'm pretty sure Claire is more in harm's way being carried around like that. Good thinking though....little people do fall down a lot. I then kept hearing things like, "Oh, Cwaire! Do you need me to save you?" To which I would look over and see Claire being picked up off a chair and then carried across the room. Surprisingly, Claire only got mad once.
Love them!

I love that these sisters love each other so much:-) Makes me think of my little sis who I used to do many of those things to and for. Now all they need is some little boy to come terrorize their happiness;-) Let me know if you'd like to borrow Jack.
So sweet! It is so wonderful when babies finally get old enough to be real playmates - it is so cute to watch them play and learn. Oh, and the extra time that you will now have because they now have each other, isn't a bad perk either.
Oh, how I love moments/days like those. That is so sweet that Reese wants to take care of her and save her. So stinkin' cute!!!
