Now, we didn't go just anywhere.
And we didn't see just anyone.
Nope, we were busy hanging out with Minnie & friends at Disneyland!
Two weekends ago, Tom, the girls, and I flew down to Vegas, snagged my Disneyland lovin' mom, then drove to California to spend a week at the happiest place on earth. To say it was fun would be an understatement. We originally had plans of doing this in the fall, but things just worked out perfectly to go earlier.
Reese did start off a bit timid,
and Claire a bit sick,
but it didn't take them long to get over it all and feel the "the happiest place on earth" vibe.
Claire never did seem too excited about any of the rides. We kind of figured that might be the case when we saw how terrified she was just on the elevator in our hotel. (Thank goodness she was free!)
She actually spent a good portion of the trip back at the hotel with daddy so she could nap.
Reese, Momoo, and I took full advantage of that nap time and did some really fun things. The most exciting of which was probably having lunch with the princesses.
This just about says it all!
She was in complete heaven!
We also met up with my brother Adam and his fam,
(just pretend Goofy is Adam...not too far of a stretch. hehe)
and we were also pleased/shocked to have my non-Disneyland lovin' dad show up for a day.
We did a total of 4 days at the parks and I honestly could have done another. Our last night there, Tom and I even got to go out just the two of us while my parents watched the girls. So much fun!
Well, I'd love to stay and blog, (and I do have more to share) but I've got a plane to catch! I've got one more place to go, and some of my absolute favorite people to see! Tom's kickin' it here with our little peeps while I head to Women's Conference with some BYU roommates! Woo-hoo!Bjorkman, out.

Your girls are so adorable, Rachel! I love getting ideas for Riley's hair from your photos of Reese. I was thinking of cutting it to her shoulders when it gets warmer, but after seeing Reese's braids, I'm not so sure.
Oh Yay! I could not be more happy for you guys! I'm so glad that you went ahead and went for it and you had so much fun:-) I love the shot of you and your mom skipping down Main Street! That looks familiar;-) Can't wait to talk more about your 4 fun filled days.

Steve still thinks that the best money we ever spent at D-land was for the princess lunch.

I have to agree with everyone's comments. . . Rachel, you are so thin- you look great! Your mom looks great too! You are so lucky that you got to spend so many days there- we just went but could only stay for a day and a half:( Glad you guys had so much fun--makes me want to go back really soon!!
First, I'm so jealous you got to go to the happiest place on earth. Second, I can't believe we keep missing each other! I was down in Provo this week, too! If I had known you were going to WC I wouldn't have ditched to go shopping. I hope you had fun. I heard it was amazing.
