My Real Life Easter Dolls

The Sunday before Easter

With General Conference landing on Easter this year (which I loved and think would be awesome if it were every year!), the girls wore their Easter dresses early. After church, I had a very difficult time getting them to cooperate for pictures (surprise, surprise) so I busted out a couple suckers as bribery. The only problem...now they wouldn't look at me and would only stare longingly at the suckers. They make me laugh. And they're off!....to go get into some sort of mischief (surprise, surprise)I dream of the day when Tom isn't in meetings all Sunday and is around to help me corral the girls for important holiday pictures. :)

Ward Egg Hunt

Spotting her first egg. I love this picture.

Stopping to refuel with a couple crackers that Claire stowed in her basket in case of a mid egg-hunt hunger emergency.
Community Egg Hunt
Not our community's, but one we crash every year.
Loud countdown + lots of frantically running children = overwhelmed Reese

Nothing a hug from the "mommy bunny" couldn't fix though.

Claire had slightly different feelings towards "mommy bunny."

Easter Morning
Are you still there? Aren't you enjoying pictures of my children and all 5,000 of their egg hunts? Last one. Promise.

These pictures about sum up their reactions to their dolls. That Claire...so ungrateful.Annnnnd we're done!
Happy Easter!

They are so so cute! While I'm excited to have my boys, I'm a little sad I don't get to go shopping for Easter dresses!

Oh, my, the girls look so cute. I love those dresses and also I love Reese's hair in that high bun thing with the purple flower.

Very impressive crafting with the dolls. Looks like a very fun Easter.

Oh my goodness, your girls are gorgeous! I love the girls in their matching dresses. It's also nice when I hear that I'm not the only mom who has no problem using bribery to get my kids to take pictures. In the post of Josie's birthday, I have a picture with all three kids and the only way I got it was to promise them chocolate afterward! Nice!

I just love Reese's har! You make such pretty little girls! And good job on the dolls, I always knew you had it in you! :)

And, about the garden boxes. I'm no indian giver...so if you are using them, that's great! But, if there are any that you aren't using, then let me know :) We are trying to figure out how to get a garden in this year...

Hi, I'm Marissa Larsen's cousin and I sat by you at her wedding. Anyways, you always have such cute ideas here. I am in love with those adorable dolls and would love to make some for my own little girlies. Did you have a pattern, if so where did you find it? Thanks!

Thanks for the link Rachel! I think your dolls are WAY cuter than Martha's! Can't wait to try it out!

Copy away! I got the bedding from Pottery Barn Teen on sale. They have great stuff! A little more grown up than pb kids.
