Pink Week

Real Men Wear Pink!

And so do hot sexy mommas!
Hollie, Me, Shauna, Kassiah

Last Saturday Tom and I went to

our friend Mandi's all pink 30th birthday party. It was awesome to see such a sea of pink everywhere. Even all the guys participated.

Valentine's Day

Wearing our best pink, we met Tom for lunch on Valentine's Day since he hadn't seen Reese since Sunday. The busy season is upon us so unfortunately Tom has been leaving before she's up and getting home after she's asleep. Reese brought daddy a puppy that says I love you and a heart shape fruit-topped sugar cookie. Tom at least got to keep the sugar cookie.

Since Tom had to work until 1:00 am Valentine's night we had to spread apart our Valentine's festivities throughout the week. We got to go out on a much needed date last Friday and then enjoyed some chocolate fondue while watching A.I. the other night. It's been a tradition for a few years now to do fondue dinner at home on Valentine's Day, but this chocolate fondue on a random night was pretty much all we could manage for this year.

Mmmmm...Tom, you make that look good.

Hope you all had a great Pink Week too.

P.S. Tom just finished up 2 major deadlines so he's now getting home much earlier! Yippy!

Pink week?! I've never heard of that! If it were up to me, it would be pink all year round (or at least Taylor thinks so). I think an all pink birthday party would be so much fun! Maybe give that hint to Taylor sometime ;)

P.S. - Reese looks so grown up in the picture with you.

That looks fun! I'm glad you got a little time in w/ Tom. I'm feeling for you. Reese's hair looks adorable, and so does yours!

I read Jakob your post out loud about Tom's work schedule and we both just laughed and laughed. Sorry! We totally feel for you, and I can't believe it was just last year that we were there, too. You just survive while you're living it, but then after it seems surreal that that was your life. Looking back, I just can't believe Jakob would go weeks sometimes without seeing the boys. But you can do it! Persevere! Jakob is curious what job Tom is on.

All the pictures are so adorable. I love all the pink and little Reese is so adorable.

Cute Vday. It's wonderful to have traditions, even if you have to adjust them a little. I like the idea of fondue, and chocolate is the best part anyway!

Mindy, you're mean! :) No, you guys certainly paid your dues so go ahead and laugh. I can't wait to someday look back and laugh at all the suckers who work at this supposed coveted job too. Tom says he's working on PooBilled and Gampoo. Oops sorry that's ProBilled and Gambro. Sorry sometimes the word "poo" just slips right in there. He says that ProBilled is a new one. We still want to have you over sometime so Tom can pick Jacob's brain about his new job.

looks like a great v-day week! Love the extension cord to the fondue picnic!!

Good luck with busy season. I remember the gambro days with Brent. However, I feel like every season now for us is busy season!!

So fun! I want a fun birthday party when I'm 30...I'll have to put pink on the list of options. Sorry you're a single mom for a bit. Aren't you glad it's not all the time?!

Clever. Very clever. We've had an orange week here, but never thought about going to pink. By the way, Tom is adorable in that last shot.
