We taught Reese a while ago to say "all done" when she's done eating. Of course it sounds a little more like "ah-dun." So the other day Reese was taking a nap and after an hour or so Tom and I hear the sweetest little voice over the monitor say "ah-dun." She repeated it several times until we got her. It cracked us up. She's only done it one other time since, but I think it's so precious and I would love it if she kept it up.
By the way, I think this is a pretty good picture to see Reese's eye color (of course they look different in different lighting like outside, but this is pretty true to what we normally see). The only thing is that we're kind of stuck on what color to call them. We've had people call them brown, hazel, blue, grey, and greenish. I won't say which color Tom and I normally say because I'm curious as to what you think.

That is WAY too cute! I love it! I can hear her saying it in her sweet little voice. I think I'd call her eyes hazel? Oh man, I don't know. I'm feeling a little stuck, also.
I would say her eyes are hazel. She is so cute.
Reese's eye color looks just like Austin's and we call his eyes green. So I'm going with green.
Isn't hazel a mixture of colors? I think if hazel is a mix, they're hazel. I've never really known what color hazel is supposed to be.

Right after I posted this I looked at the last picture and was like duh, they're hazel. I guess it's just always hard since baby's eyes change so much at the beginning. Hers really looked dark blue for almost the entire first year. I think the main thing that throws us off is (I'm not sure you can tell in this picture) that the outside ring is dark blue. Usually in hazel I just see mixtures of brown and green. We've just had lots of people say, "now what color would you call that?" I usually just say hazel since like you said Marissa, it's just a mixture of colors although it feels like a generic response. I'm probably making this a big deal and it's not, but thanks for all your opinions. :)

I can't believe that she's got the dark ring around her eye color. I'm so excited that she actually got one thing from me. I have always hated the word "hazel", so I'll just say they're "rainbow" eyes. Love her to death and miss her!
