Friday night some of our friends put on a Halloween Costume party. Since Tom and I were both out of town for almost 2 weeks then both jam-packed with work and other things when we got back, we didn't figure out our costumes until Friday afternoon. Tom and I are both huge fans of the tv show Beauty and the Geek. So when Tom decided that he wanted to go as one of the geeks it only seemed fitting for me to dress up as a beauty. And who says you never get to wear any of your bridesmaid dresses again?
Below is the guy from the show that Tom was most trying to imitate. He calls himself a LARPER which is a "Live Action Role Player".

The party was so much fun. Sometimes I get down because I don't have that one BFF here in Colorado, but while I was at this party I looked around and thought what on earth do I have to complain about? I am surrounded by so many fun and good people.

I don't know the last time I had "that" friend, either. Except for my sister. We're lucky to live close. You guys look awesome in your costumes. You know what, I kind of think that Tom looks like Jacob. (Not in the geek costume - just everyday Tom.) What is Reese being for Halloween?

Looks like a fun party. I got a kick out of Tom's geek costume. He pulled it off perfectly!! And of course you looked gorgeous (like always!!)
Reese's costume couldn't get any cuter!! She is such an adorable girl! I thought the idea of beauty and the geek was very clever- you guys win the "most original" costumes of the year!
That's hilarious. We were watching Beauty and the Geek last night and next time when I watch it I will have to think about your costumes!
