1st Official Haircut

You may have noticed that I constantly have Reese's hair in pig-tails. Other than it being stinkin' cute, her hair is absolutely WILD when I leave it down. She has 2 or 3 cowlicks that make her hair go every which way. So I was hoping that cutting it would even it out and make it look a little better when it's down. I say 1st "official" haircut because I'm not going to count the time I chopped off her mullet and slipped when she moved. I ended up cutting it WAY too short in one spot. I didn't take any pictures because I was so embarrassed. It seriously took 3-4 months for that spot to grow back! So I don't trust myself to cut hair anymore. At least not while she's this little.

Our friend Randi from our ward cuts hair out of her home and only charges $5. She's super quick and really good.

I thought Reese looked so cute on the chair in the little cape with her little head poking out.

She thought the whole thing was so fun. She was in such a silly mood.

Finishing up with some "product."

Finished! The first thing Randi said after she cut her hair was, "Wow, I didn't know Tom would be so cute as a girl."

I actually had her cut my hair today too. I chopped it to a little above my shoulders. It was definitely time for a change. Sorry, I didn't have my mom there to take any pictures for me to show.

I love it! Reese just kills me in the zebra bib. We just all had haircuts around here, too (except for Jocelyn). We might be twinners now...I'll post mine if you'll post yours. I have just started cutting Steve's hair in the past year, but I don't go there with the girls. Steve does pay me in dates for my services, so I enjoy that.

so cute and can't believe how much she cooperated! i did the same thing as you though with tyson's hair. i wanted to give him a trim and cut it way out of control - right before family pics! i had to take him in to get it fixed. However, now, it's super easy - just take the clippers and give him a buzz!!

oh, and it's dr. hamilton and notice how we still have those couches!! can't wait to get new ones but they are great since we officially have no income coming in. I hope school is worth it!!!

I love these pictures!! Reese is such a cutie and her haircut turned out adorable. Abby still hasn't gone in for a haircut yet. Fortunately it has grown in pretty even so we are just letting it grow long now. I have attempted to cut her bangs a few times though, and those have been disasters. Short, choppy and uneven but I guess its the best I can do with a squirmy child!

I'm impressed that anyone can cut a toddler's hair. It's been fun to come home from vacation and catch up on your life.

First couple of pictures look a little like Clara! Funny how the cousins have little looks that make them look like siblings at times.
