It's been 4 years!!!
Sweet Tom! Tom now knows by my not so subtle hints that random, bright, and cheap flowers are my favorite. He even made sure there was a gerber in there...my absolute favorite!
We went to a restaurant called Ling & Louie's Asian Grill and Bistro. I'm not usually a fan of Asian food, but this food was amazing! (Plus, we had a gift card that we were able to put towards it! You can't beat that!)
We had to finish up with some Cold Stone! Yum, yum! Tom and I are really not good sharers when it comes to our food, but ice cream is one thing that we never have a problem with even having to share. The best combination ever is caker batter ice cream, brownie, & fudge. Tom likes gross stuff like banana ice cream with heath bar. :)

SO CUTE!! I love all of your photos!! HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!! OK...so where did you get your WAY CUTE BLOG BACKGROUND and stuff!! I need to upgrade!!!
Where did you get your background! That is too cute! Happy Anniversary!!! It flies doesn't it? Each August, the three of us (you, Adam & me) all fly through another year within about a week of each other. 12 years for us now. Sounds like forever, but I'm telling you, you will be so surprised how fast it goes.
That's awesome Rachel. Your blog looks so good, and I love the slide show. You guys make me want to get married!
I can't believe its been 4 years. Time sure does fly. Congrats and here's to many, many more!!!
Thanks guys! It's gone by fast, but at the same time it feels like forever ago that I was single!
As far as the blog background stuff goes. There'a a website called shabbytulips.blogspot.com and that's where I got my template. She has some pre-made ones, but there's also a template that she gives you that you can add your own "paper" to. I downloaded my own digital paper from designerdigitals.com. It might be quick if you are computer savvy, but I'm not so it took me a while. If you decide to change yours and want to go that route let me know and I'll give you tips so it doesn't take quite as long.
Congrats on the four year mark. Your pictures look cute.
happy anniversary. can't believe it's been 4 years since we worked together and tom and brent were roommates for a week!!
love the new blog. send me your tips because i'm dying to make a new blog but never knew how!!
happiest of happy anniversaries!!! i hope you went out for indian food to celebrate - lamb tikka masala, perhaps? congrats on a great four years!
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!! I love the new background... I am going to check out that website and try to get something fancy on ours.
Rach!!! Holy cow, I love your new blog. It totally makes me want to redo mine right now. I agree on it taking forever...I really liked my new one until I just saw yours and am now itching to redo mine again. It looks so awesome!
I can't believe it's been 4 years. It seems like forever and like yesterday all at the same time that we'd driven down to see your sealing while I was soooo sick and pregnant with Kelsey. Congrats, you guys! You're so beautiful!
Me again...well I guess it's my blog so I can do whatever I want. First off, you guys are all so sweet. Comments really do make my day! And Marisa, I think your blog already looks great and I wouldn't change it! Anyway just a couple tidbits for anybody who wants to use that website (shabbytulips.blogspot.com)to re-make their blog:
WARNING, THIS WILL BE LONG!
#1 her premade templates are down right now, but her make your own starter template is under "Wednesday July 18th". It's really easy to follow.
#2 any of her templates ERASE all your links and pictures on the side. I had to write all my links down down before I deleted my old template and then added them back later. Don't worry, it doesn't delete your blog archive stuff.
#3 all her headers go way over to the right. So that's the part that took me the longest to figure out. If you don't care then the whole thing should be really easy. What I did though was went into the html codes and deleted the "header" section and cut and pasted the html code for a header from one of the original blogger templates (I think it was minima that worked the best).
#4 There are tons of places to find cute digital paper, but http://www.designerdigitals.com/
ecom/products_new.php had a ton in the left column under search by designer. Then you have to start an account under something like photobucket to save the designs in. I think she explains everything pretty clearly though.
#5 To make my header look more centered I had to use photoshop and make my own border using "ribbon" from one of the digital scrapbooking kits.
You can make a super cute one just using her starter template, but apparently I like to make things more complicated.
You've been holding out on me. You do have cute wedding pictures! There's no excuse now. Like they're in the basement, somewhere. O.K. give up the goods. You can just email them to me and Dad can print them out. Oh, and Happy Anniversary.
I like the background too. I'm impressed with your savvy computing skills. You are addicted to blogging ;o).
Happy Anniversary Rachel and Tom. So I keep meaning to tell you... like for 4 years now... after your wedding I wrote up a page about what the sealer talked about. I need to give it to you!! Every year I think, I'll mail that to Rachel as an anniversary gift. The problem is that I think this in January and totally forget by April. So I just need to fork it over. Since I notoriously forget, remind me, ok?
Happy Anniversary! And good luck in your fantasy draft tomorrow, Tom!
Oh my gosh Heidi! That is the best thing ever! I had no idea that you wrote anything down! I don't remember a thing other than the sealer calling me "what's her name..." I would LOVE for you to send that to me!
Mom, if you read this: I was waiting for your comment getting mad at me about the wedding pictures. Now they're out of our crawl space and I'll send them to you. There really are very few that are good!
love the haircut!
Woah. 16 comments Rach. That's gotta be a new record. I'll make it 17 just for good measure!
