Easter Eve

I have several more-important posts sitting as drafts, but I can't let our annual visit with our favorite creepy bunny go by without any mention!

Seriously. Does it get much scarier than a cross-eyed, mustached, lady bunny? My kids (other than Leah who kept running away) are less shallow than me and seem to see straight to her inner beauty. They love her.

"Daddy Bunny" is much easier on the eyes, but Leah still was not a fan.

She felt differently about the egg hunt though. Obviously not much of a clue as to what was going on...
but when the horn blew for the hunt to begin, and she laid eyes on a dum-dum laying on the field, the egg hunt may as well have been over....
She got what she came for and left a happy girl.

The rest of the kids left slightly bummed with the small amount of eggs they got (you've gotta be crazy quick), but nothing a little egg-dying with neighbor friends couldn't fix!

Everett, the little dye-hard, was still going strong for about 20 minutes after the others were long gone. This boy loves all things crafty and had to make sure that all were covered with stickers, glitter, and paint.

A happy, spill-free(!) Easter Eve, indeed!

I wouldn't have guessed that Ev was there super crafty type. That's fun to know about his personality. And hilarious about Leah getting one sucker and being done. Yay for being 1. Hope your Easter Sunday was awesome too.

That's so funny that E is the crafty kid. And holy moly, I almost didn't recognize Claire - she is officially an "older kid" now isn't she!? She's looking so grown up!
