A full month without blogging. A new record for me. I so don't like that! I have more thoughts on the overall death of blogging that maybe I'll whine about on here later, but I'll move on for now.
This year we partied it up Koch style in Park City! Holla! (Pretty sure nobody still says that. By the way, I'm the huge mass on the front left.....in case you missed me!! )
Reese's cute little "to do" list I found by the phone in our hotel room one day...
And let me tell you, those check marks were legit because swim and play with cousins she did!
Skylar & Reese
Reese & faceless Charlie
(I didn't get my camera out early enough to get a picture with the other best-bud cousin, Clara, before she left.)
Claire's to-do list probably would have been the same, but maybe with the added line of "get into mischief with cousin Junie." Some things never change!
Claire, June, & Shea
And Everett's list? Well, there certainly would be a GIANT check mark next to "Decide I HATE sleeping in a pack-n-play so wake up screaming like a newborn every few hours until my parents feel desperate and put me in bed with them. Then continuously kick Mom in the back to help her get the good night sleep a pregnant lady deserves." Check, check, check!
Nolan & Stinker-Boy
So our nights were definitely a bit rough, but our days were filled with quite a bit of fun.
Alpine Slides
Day reminiscing at BYU
Walking the hall in the library that leads to the computer lab where Tom and I first officially met.
It's completely different now and the lab is no longer :(, but this is the exact corner where we first spoke. It was almost midnight when they blasted "When the Saints Go Marching In" to get everybody to leave and Tom wouldn't get up because he was too nervous to walk passed me. So I walked right on over to that corner and introduced myself while pretending I didn't know his name. And now we have (almost) 4 kids. Weird! (Love the cute little photographers we had on hand who were able to really capture our most flattering angles. There were even a few shots just of my chest.)
We also got to meet up with Tom's brother Jeff for lunch at the Cougar-Eat.
He's single, ladies, and quite the stud! (Do you like that I think I have people reading my blog who aren't old, married ladies like me?)
Cascade Springs
One day, cute Tommy boy surprised me by taking me up to the spot where he proposed 10(!) years ago. He gave me 10 red roses each attached with a note with something he loves about me and 10 pink roses with a memory/memories of each year of our marriage. It doesn't happen (to that level) often ;), but the boy can be a smooth operator when he wants to be!
All the bushes/plants have grown a ton since we were last there making it a little too painful for our kids to walk down to the stream where he actually proposed but they got the idea. What a trip to be back there thinking about those fun, fun dating days! Because now life sucks. KIDDING!
The rest of the gang met up with us a bit later.
Pretty much my favorite time of any of our family trips are those non-pictured times at night when the kids are in bed and all the adults are left gathered in one room eating treats while
I love what a priority my parents make it to try and get us all together each year. Really, we're quite spoiled with our accommodations and I'm so glad they see the importance of helping us build and keep these family relationships. Thanks Mom & Dad! Love you all, my dear family!

Keep the blogging alive Rachel! Even if it's only monthly, it's still important. (Note to self). I love that your family can make you laugh so hard. Does such good laughter make up for all the sleeplessness? So are you going to blog Tom's cute rose love notes?
First...you are the cutest pregnant lady ever! Second...Tom did good with that little surprise. Maybe he could pass on some of that "smooth operator" mode onto someone else I know. Three...how in the world has it been 10 years?!? So fun to see the Koch family all grown up!
Love it all. :) I love BYU reminiscing. We haven't done it too many times, but when we do, it always makes my heart race. :)
PS - You're the cutest pregnant person ever. Truly.
I love that your family does a big family trip together. I think it's important for family relationships too. And your parents sure have some cute grand kids. All of those kids are adorable!
I love hearing how you and Tom met. I don't think I knew you met at the library.
I am so glad you are back! How are you feeling? We need to skype soon.
Looks like a fun trip and I love Tom's idea with the roses. Now that we have internet I hope you do a lot of blogging.
Yay! A new post. I also have some thoughts on the dying art of blogging. How else can I stalk people? Stay strong with me.
What a fun family vacation. Also, you are so cute pregnant.
You are the cutest pregnant girl! The long hot summer is almost over. I love seeing pics of your fun family. I agree that family vacays are super fun. Also, Tom's brother looks nothing like him! I don't know why that surprised me - maybe because E. Tom looks so much like him??
I still blog but I swear I just think of it as a journal because I know nobody reads it. Although, I religiously check yours because I think you're awesome and you write awesome posts and have a cute family! With some pretty darn cute cousins! Sleeping on family vacations...does that exist? Anyone? Anyone?
So much fun! My idea of HEAVEN. Love, love, love our family vacations. Don't stop blogging!!
So fun to catch up with you, Rachel. Glad to hear this pregnancy is treating you right! I can't wait to meet the next little Bjorkman. You guys make the cutest kidlets. Are you planning to come for any of the upcoming holidays?
