My little Boogs is all grown up (sort of ;)!
Mr. & Mrs. Jordan & Julie Homer
(Love her dress! She looked like a princess!)
The Kochomos
14 of the 17 grandkids (Jacob & Shelley's kids were back home in Georgia.)
After a lot of careful consideration of who's harder to take normal pictures of, my kids or Michael(?), the award goes to....
Michael!
Everybody should be so lucky to have a "Midol Sugar Bear Punky" in their family!
That's not to say that the family silliness stops with Michael. Oh no. We are a wild and zany bunch!
The brothers' brown and black shoe wedding tradition. It started back at my wedding when Adam, due to canceled flights, barely made it to my sealing. David picked him up from the airport, and for some reason one black and one brown shoe were his only options. The combo has made it to each wedding since. :) It was a HOT day, but everything turned out beautiful and just how Julie wanted it!
(My kids were pretty done after an afternoon in the Vegas heat.)
Later at the luncheon...
Congratulations Julie and Jordan! You're a perfect fit for each other and we love you both!

You look gorgeous Rachel! That Tom is one lucky man. And so are your kids with those amazing birthday parties. Love them!!
Looks like a great day for the Koch clan. Not sure why you'd do a Vegas wedding in August, but I guess she's not the first to pick that month :o). Speaking of, Happy Anniversary to you guys next week!
Your sister looks gorgeous. I love her wedding dress. Your family looks like a lot of fun!
What a beautiful family!! Congratulations to Julie (although how in the world did she get old enough to get married?!?!?!) And I LOVE your dress, where did you get it girlie?
Awww - congratulations to Julie!! She looked BEAUTIFUL!! I love seeing pictures of the Koch family. It makes me nostalgic!
Okay, my sister and I laughed at the brown and black mismatched shoes tradition... it made me think of my brother's wedding.
After the sealing I was putting on my shoes and Andy couldn't find his ANYWHERE! We finally decided it was a lost cause and would stop and buy him new ones before the reception. The whole way down to the lobby each temple worker said, "You forgot your shoes." Nope, someone stole them. We got down to the lobby and my uncle said to my grandpa, "Dad, you forgot to tie your shoes." Andy looked down and said, "Those are MY shoes!" We laughed so hard that we were asked to please take it outside the temple doors. It's still a running joke in our family to hang onto your shoes around grandpa.
I love seeing pictures of all the Kochs too. And I'm glad I got to talk to you, Rachel! I'm so happy for Julie. What a gorgeous bride. I'm glad she had a great wedding day.
I haven't seen any of these "normal photos" since all that keeps showing up on FB is the goofy stuff. Glad to see some good ones. Nice summary of wedding, Rachel.
