Also known as the day Everett miraculously figured out how to use a straw. Hmmm...funny how that happened.

The best part about this is that she has never answered the phone before. She heard the name of Tom's company on the voice caller ID and thought she'd give it a shot. Tom was quite surprised to hear her cute little voice. Writing down the message was all her idea too...which I happened to find adorable.
After naps, I gathered up the gang (including our little neighbor buddies) and headed on out for some sugar. (Claire was of course unavailable for pictures right after declaring that she did not like Slurpees.)

I thought the same thing about the cups. What a great day for Everett to learn how to use a straw and yay for good friends who remind you of the important things in life!
I LOVE that I can count on this post from you every year :). I think I'd heard that it was also their 85th (or something like that) anniversary so maybe that was the mystery behind the cups? Bret took the kiddos this year at 7:02....but apparently they stop at 7. Who knew? And I totally agree with you--where are all the blogging people??? I'm SO glad you're still faithfully blogging away!
