Our Day O' Love

It was a good one!

It was filled with heart attacks (courtesy of Daddy/Hubby. Who knew Tom was a closet pinterester?! ;),
and many a delicious treat (also courtesy of Tom).

I also came upon a couple of the most adorable hairy faces...

and some super kissable lips!

We headed to Reese's Preschool Party in the afternoon.

And out to Qdoba at night for an extremely un-romantic, but yummy family dinner. I kind of begged Tom to go out because I was tired and had zero desire to deal with any sort of kitchen mess. Besides, it was Buy One Get One if you kissed in front of them. Sickos! :)

We ended the Day O' Love at World Market buying my Valentine's present. I told Tom my awesome plan of instead of buying me flowers (which he kind of did anyway) that I wanted to get some throw pillows that I had been eyeing. I love flowers, but if we were going to spend money I wanted something more practical. (Are throw pillows practical? They are to me! They make me happy.)

And there you have it, a play by play of our Valentine's Day!

P.S. My camera keeps having the most random issues. So in the meantime, plenty of lame camera phone pictures will be gracing my blog. Whatever gets the job done!

I love those throw pillows! I have needed some new ones for years now. I think I'll try World Market. I'm glad you guys had a fun Valentine's! Nice work with the heart attacks, Tom!

Sounds like a great Valentine's Day. I'm over getting flowers too and I think the throw pillow idea is a great one. They sure last a lot longer at least. I may have to hint that one to Jason now!!

Mmmm, the pillows are magnificent! What a wonderful purchase. I have recently also come to the conclusion that I'd much rather Todd buy me shoes, or something else I've been eyeing, than flowers. I'm glad I'm not the only one.

I love that you do fun things with your kids! People tell me I'm a bit crazy that I do things on not so popular holidays... anything other than Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Halloween. I wanted to do your idea you had last year with the crayons, but I was all out of energy that day. Oh well, there's always next year. I love that Tom gets into it, too. So fun!!! Give your kids hugs for me!
