(If you don't sense my sarcasm, see HERE)

(See, there he is loving them.)
I had the hardest time finding any bedding I liked...and really never did, I guess. I found this crib sheet though and fell in love with it. I've found that a lot of people aren't doing crib bumpers anymore (for safety reasons?) so I decided what the heck, I can't find one I like so I won't either. Plus, it saved lots of money. (Now that he's all over the place though I did put up one of those cheap breathable bumpers so hands and feet don't get stuck in the slats.)
FYI- subliminal messages do not work on babies.
I've been loving these bookshelf ideas that I've been seeing all over. It just makes the books so much more accessible. I need to do some in the girls' room too because they are always in there stealing his. I used the vinyl rain gutter idea that I saw a while back on my friend, Julie H's blog.

Both blankets were handmade and given to me and they are perfect! (Miriam made the green zebra print one hanging over the crib, and the patchwork one on the chair was done by my sister-in-law, Karen.) The chair was the only thing that was somewhat pricey in the room because I really wanted something comfy this go around. And we've definitely gotten more than our money's worth as Everett and I have spent way more hours in that chair than I should ever admit!
Really, this is my most favorite room in the house. Sometimes I make all the kids just sit in there with me. It may be because it's one of the few rooms that actually stays clean, but also because it's the only room that, in my mind, is "done". I constantly have ideas running through my brain for everywhere else in my house, but unfortunately many of those ideas include furniture/money. I'm working on being more content.
That's a wrap! Hope the reveal was all you hoped and dreamed it would be!

Oh, I love it! The color scheme is so fun. Those blues and greens just pop out. And I do enjoy all the owl cuteness. Aww, lucky boy. Also, lucky you and a soft chair. Those make all the difference.
Seriously, will you come decorate my nursery? You can do whatever you want, I'd give you all the freedom in the world! Right now it's just a junk room with a crib...
Oh my GOODNESS!!!! It seriously looks like a room out of a magazine! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the pattern on the wall! That must've taken you forever to get that perfect! I Love the whole color scheme. The letter E is SOOO cute with the abcd above it. I also love the bookshelves--what a clever idea. And the chair fits into the whole room perfectly! I can totally see why you'd want to stay in there forever!!!!! I seriously love it so much!!!
And I have to add that the sheet is just perfect! I loved seeing the adorable, sweet pictures of him and then of you and him, too. The sayings are also such a perfect touch. I could go on and on. I just LOVE It! Can you come design Kelsey and Blake's room for me????? I'm at a loss on theirs!
It is ridiculously adorable! Just perfect in every way. I LOVE it!
btw-I'm slightly jealous of your decorating abilities. :)

Somebody's been perusing pinterest...hmmm. Great job Rachel!
Totally cute, Rachel! Please, come do mine! I would love to have just one room that feels done too.
I LOVE IT! Yes, I'm shouting. Seriously, I love every single thing. Especially the wall. And the subliminal print. And the lamp. And all the rest. Will you pretty pretty please come decorate my house? Oh wait, I don't have a house. Okay you're off the hook for now.
I LOVE it and everything you've done in there. I've had the rain gutter book shelves on my to do list forever. You're so adventurous with tools, so of course you made them already. The owls are so cute, and I love the colors you chose. That gray and white wall looks awesome!
Love it! Who wouldn't love owls with a room like that?!
I feel so honored getting a shout out on your blog! Yay! LOVE the room...it is amazing! And LOVE your blog!
I love it, it looks so amazing! The painting turned out great! Poor Dulcie is still in her bassinet in our room! I don't trust Delaney enough to leave them in there together so we are still trying to figure out what to do with her next! Unfortunately is she is sharing with Delaney I will have to give up the idea of the one perfect and clean room in the house thing....I remember having that same thought/feeling! I love the owls, I love the room, I love the quilts! And I love your chair....that is a great investment for these tricky third babies! Looks great!
What an adorable room!! You did such an amazing job and I don't blame you for wanting to spend multiple hours in there everyday. I actually find myself liking to go in Nolan's room too for those very same reasons!! Love, love, love his room.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!! The colors, the owls, the bedding, the pictures, the bookshelves... Great job!!
I love the room! It looks like the exact color I painted for Camden months ago. I love being in my baby's room too - for the same reason - it stays clean! Very cute!
Rachel, you did awesome! Love the owl theme and the colors. I'm going to have to copy your bookshelf idea. And I love your zig zag wall too. Nicely done!
LOVE it! I am a bit envious of your creativity. Maybe next time you're over I could get some ideas from you for Z's room. LOL! BTW-where did you get the canvas prints when Everett was a baby?
such a cute room!
When I move into my new place, will you come and do my rooms? Please?
Rachel, this is A-MAZING!! You go, girl! Audrey says her YW leader has those cool zig-zag lines in her house. Must be the in thing because she has style, too. Love your book shelves, and yes, I would be forcing my whole family to sit in this room with me, too. :)
