really isn't all that exciting. Sorry. Well, I guess it was in the moment. Since a couple of you asked (and for the rest of you, because who doesn't love a good poop story every now and then?)....
I put Claire up on the changing table in her room and opened her poopy diaper. I then realized that there weren't any wipes in the drawer and that I had left them on the floor in Reese's room. I told Claire not to move and then I booked it. Reese's room is right there so I was gone for 5 seconds at the most! I ran back in and Claire was holding a clump of her poop! Being the overreacter that I am, I started screaming "Ah! Ah! Ah! Ah! Ah!" Claire quickly realized that she had done something wrong and decided she needed to get rid of it....so she chucked it on the ground. So there was poop all over her hands and the carpet. It was nasty!!
We cleaned it all up and nothing more was said about it. So it made Tom and me laugh when Reese brought it up during our "tell us something you love about the other" FHE moment. Hope it didn't disappoint, Heidi and Ally. :)
In other exciting news, I'm 25 weeks pregnant today! I'm a quarter of a....wait...25 weeks doesn't mean anything. It sounds far to me though. I think I'll go eat a cookie to celebrate.

Poor Claire. And poor Rachel who had to clean it up. Super gross. :)
Not your first dealings with cleaning up poop off strange places, but by far the funniest!!! Eat a cookie for me as well to celebrate the nothing week!!!
Yes that story was worth it! I laughed muchly. Thank you. Perhaps it helps that I can picture Ruthie doing the same thing with that innocent little "what?" look on her face. Oh the grossness. Oh the humor.
Did I ever tell you my best poop story? When Austin was about six months old, I was starting to change his diaper when my phone rang. Even though I knew it was a poopy diaper I figured I could do both, so I answered the phone. It was my RS pres or bishop or someone that I couldn't be rude or embarrassing to. Well 30 seconds in to the conversation and the diaper change, Austin decided he wasn't done and proceeded to blast the changing table with another goopey round of poo - and it just kept coming! I felt totally grossed out and incapacitated. Meanwhile Austin was getting irritated and started trying to roll around. I finally told the phone person I'd have to call them back and cleaned it all up. Oh fun.
I love the title for this post that shows up on my list of blogs. I bet whoever sees that is pretty curious about it. I love that Claire threw the poop as soon as you freaked out.
It totally did NOT disappoint! My brother's son did something like that. :) Thanks for the chuckle!
