You also love getting all dolled up to go on dates with your daddy. Daddy brought flowers home for your last date.
You went to McDonald's for dinner and ice cream and then to see the play "Alice in Wonderland." It sounded like it was a great date and I'm pleased to report that there was once again no pushing.
And let's not forget this girly trait....before you begin your coloring you are always sure to make sure EVERYBODY is a girl by giving him/her eyelashes---the main distinguishing trait between boys and girls, as we all know.
* You can be so fabulously nurturing and sensitive
I think it's adorable how EVERY single prayer you say includes, "Bless the kids who don't have any food, or houses, or toys." You really are so concerned for others and it breaks your heart when you know somebody doesn't have all the things they need.
You love to put Claire to bed by reading her stories and singing to her. You also love to get Claire up after nap time. (One day without my knowledge you figured out how to get her out of her crib.)
* You are fabulously creative & fun
You have two imaginary friends that you came up with all by yourself, Candy and David. They are twins. They come over to play almost daily. They even run errands with us and I have to strap them into their pretend car seats. Maybe I should be worried, but I'm not. I think it's funny and creative.
A couple weeks ago you came up to me with an idea of drawing a big dog and taping it to you. I didn't at first quite understand what you were envisioning, but as you led me through the instructions this is what it came out as:
I couldn't stop laughing, but it was all very serious to you.
You love playing games. The way you decide if you like a babysitter is whether or not she will play board games with you. It was really fun and funny to watch you try and catch on to the concept of "Go Bananas" (Curious George's version of "Go Fish"). You weren't very good at keeping your cards secret from me and would exclaim, "I got a [kite]!" (or whatever) every time you would draw from the pile.

* You are a fabulous friend
You are still very shy of adults. "Mommy, I'm shy of him" you often say. But you LOVE your kid friends! And you can hardly stand to be alone. Every day you beg for a friend. And on the days you can't play with a real friend, Candy or David come over of course.
You are quite the police woman when it comes to making sure you and others are wearing modest clothing. (Ironic, since you still love running around the house in your underwear.)
One of the first things you said when you opened your birthday presents from Grandma & Grandpa Bjorkman and saw the long sleeved shirts and pants was, "Oooo, they're so modest!"

When Dancing with the Stars is on, every girl you see you say, "She looks pretty, but she's not very modest." Then we talk about how her dress could be different to be more modest.
Yes, my Reese Elizabeth, I think you are pretty darn fabulous. Of course there are PLENTY of hard days and moments when I don't think you are quite so fabulous, but those really just aren't as fun to write about. And I really want you to know (I always picture you reading this back some day) that I love you with all my heart and I think you are the most fun and fabulous 4 year old in the world.

I love the part about taping a dog picture to her naked body. So funny. She's a cutie.
No way she's just four! That dog is the most creative thing I've seen.
