She's funny. And while I really don't have any big stories or milestones to write about, I really just don't want to forget anything about who she is right now. I seriously love this age! She is crazy as all get out, but so hilarious and fun.
I will admit that her bum is beginning to make a permanent imprint on the time-out chair,
but I also love how sweet she can turn around and be. When she gets hurt and I pick her up, she pats me on the back repeatedly like she's telling me that it's okay.

She is into everything. Of course. Her favorite thing is chapstick. She's always stealing mine. Drives me nuts. She also loves to brush her teeth and brush her hair. Oh, and eat glue.

She's developed her mother's love for eating lemon pepper out of her hand.
And now for another confusing teaching moment....."Claire, don't eat that! But wait...hold on for just one sec. while I grab my camera."
She also has a slightly unhealthy obsession with Caillou. Have you seen that show (PBS)? I'm not sure what her deal is with 4 year old bald kids, but she is beyond obsessed. Every morning she runs to her spot on the couch and yells "Caillou!" And it's said almost angrily. "Caillou!!! Caillou!!!" And nobody but Reese is allowed to watch it with her. If other kids are over she will run up to the tv and cover it. While we were in Steamboat, she was in the same room as us and at like 4 in the morning we'd hear this little voice from the pack'n'play softly saying "Caillou, Caillou." So funny.
Her spot

I love listening to her talk. There's definitely some gibberish involved, but she says quite a bit. The other day in the car it was so cute to hear a little voice in the back say, "Pop-tart, mommy, pease." And pretty much anytime she says anything that's directed at me, it's followed with a 3 second pause then ended with "mom". "Thanks.........mom." It always makes me smile.
She's kind of a scaredy cat. She is just now getting over her fear of swings. Much like her fear of elevators, she has always freaked out on both swings and going up and down hills in the car. She loves slides though. Go figure.

Lemon Pepper!!!!!!!! I have fond memories of eating that stuff at your house. Sometimes I crave it. . . and I think of you Rachel Koch- Bjorkman!! Claire is darling. . . couldn't be any cuter:)
She is indeed gorgeous :-)
You are so clever to write down all the details...I wish I had. Unless I wrote it down whole chunks of the kids babyhood is gone :-( Well done you.
PS I love the time out pic.
Precious!!
I loved this post of adorable Claire and I especially loved the last pic. It made me smile! This age is so much fun! I'm excited for Andrew and Claire to get together at Thanksgiving:)!
What a sweet post about such an adorable girl.
I love her little bob!
I love, love, LOVE when little bum cheeks sneak out of diapers. That is my favorite. I never got a picture, though! You are so lucky! I just want to pinch that little cheek!
What a doll! So great that you are taking a moment to write down how you feel now - so that you can look back in later years when you want to lose it after her first "eye roll"!
She is the cutest. I love that age too - I think around 3 is the cutest age ever.
I can't believe you still eat lemon pepper out of your hand and that now your kids do it! I also remember eating that at your house all the time. Your kids are such dolls, Rachel. I love that they are both a little bit sassy.
That was a fun post. It's so fun to remember the everyday, along with the big milestones. Claire sure is a cute girl!!
Such a cutie. My boys do so many of those things too. Fun age. And the minnie party looked really cute. You always come up with some great parties. Lucky girls.
