Hooty Booty was in da house! My house to be exact. My dear old roommate, Heidi, came out for a visit back in July. I think everybody should have a little Hooty Booty in their life. Um, that sounds weird, but really I just love Heidi and was thrilled when she emailed me saying she wanted to drive out with her kids for a visit while her hubby was out of the country for work.
We filled our week with plenty of activities....The Aquarium
Yes, I did say aquarium. I'm not going to even pretend to understand why there was a tiger in "The Aquarium."
And sharks!
And Ruthies!

The Nature & Science Museum
Such a great place!

Around da house

Such a fun mom! I couldn't resist posting this picture (below).

We definitely didn't feel like we did as much girl bonding late night talking as we would have liked, but that's just what happens when you turn into tired old mom ladies. What'da you do?!
And just because it wouldn't be a true old roomy post without, a few pictures from the good ol' days...

Thanks for the visit Heidi!!!

So fun! Can I come and visit, too? I especially loved the old college pictures. Why is it that every college apt has plaid couches and extreme floral bed comforters? I don't think I've ever seen one without at least one of those. Ha, ha!
The kids are so cute, too. They looked like they enjoyed the time with friends as much as you.
Agreed... everyone needs a little Hooty Booty in their lives. Tell her hi for me. Miss you both.
Yay pictures! Now I can steal them from your blog and post them on mine... if I ever get around to it. Thanks for having us that week. Austin has mentioned a couple times since, "I want to play with Reese." So I think another trip is definitely in order some time - only next time we'll have to plan a night for ditching parental responsibilities so we can play (i.e., Cheesecake Factory).
I love that you dug out your picture book to post those silly pictures. (I'll have to steal those too). Oh the good times. It still baffles me that we all actually got married, had kids, and now live the "mom" lives. Did we have any idea back then what our futures would really be?
PS. Austin starts preschool today - I can hardly believe it!
