Mother's Day

I'm not going to lie...I was a bit of a grouch this Mother's Day. Something about it being the first day of this yucky head cold I've had ALL week paired with a bit of PMS. But that's not to say that it wasn't also a day filled with lots of love and very sweet gestures by my very favorite people. Tom stepped up with making me lots of yummy food (whoever says that food is the key to a man's heart doesn't know this woman), and the girls gave me a cute little card from the perspective of "our cat". We don't have a cat, but I think I can figure out why they picked it. :)I don't think I could possibly love my little girls more than I already do and I am so proud and grateful to be their momma! Excuse the blurriness. One of the camera settings was accidentally bumped earlier by our mini budding photographer (and I don't mean Tom!).

A sampling from my Mother's Day Shoot by that mini photographer

Being a mother really is grand...head colds and all.

I love the pictures. I have decided that Mother's Day, while you have young children, is not a day for "Mom you are so wonderful!" It is more of a day that when we got to sleep that night covered in snot, poop, and if we are lucky we have had a shower we say "yep, I'm a mom!"

Very creative photos. Reese is an upcoming paparazzi. I think the noodle comment was because you live on ramen.
