SHE's THE BIG 30!!

So, this is Tom, Rachel's husband, stealing her identity like a Nigerian scammer and coming at you for a special B-Day post to celebrate her passage from the roaring 20's to the thrilling 30's. She truly is the most beautiful, amazing person that I know, and I love her deeply. A simple blog post will never do justice in articulating the unspeakable impact she has had on my life and the lives of my daughters. However, having said that, I'd like to go Bill Shakespeare on you all and compose a few of my thoughts about her on this, her big 30!!

WARNING! SPOUSAL BRAGGING (IT'S ALL TRUE THOUGH) TO FOLLOW! PLEASE AVERT YOUR EYES IF YOU CANNOT TAKE THE ONCOMING CHEESE FESTIVAL.

She is very artistic! She doesn't think so, but I really think she is good at creating things and injecting beauty into whatever she does.

She is an intelligent and funny girl. She is not afraid to challenge conventional thinking and stand on her own two feet, which I love. She's kind of wacky, and I love it!

She is a wonderful mother! Someday, my two little girls will realize how lucky they are to have her as their mom. In the meantime, it's potty training, runny noses, mountains of toys, and countless hrs of teaching, loving, hugging, and nurturing while I sit in my cozy office at work and do far less important things.

She is my wife, and I can prove it! She is the love of my life, and simply the best thing that ever happened to me. The day she said yes is the day that my life got incalculably better! It doesn't take an accountant to know the math works.

I love her and feel like I won the lottery when she accepted.

Those are just a few of the many amazing things about Rachel. When I think about how awesome my wife is, it makes me want to bust out into spontaneous dance, regardless of what I am wearing or what I am doing.
Happy 30th B-day Rachie! I cannot wait to gorge myself on your B-Day favorite-Indian food!

Love,

Hubby

Awwww is right. I just now saw this and was genuinely surprised. I was just hopping on to check comments and was caught off guard when I didn't see "Potty Pooper" at the top. Tom, you made me laugh, you made me cry. Job well done. Let the mushy cheese continue....Tom I love you too!

And thank you everybody for all the b-day wishes I've received! I feel very loved!!!

Oh and Heather, that last picture with the pizza was at a "The Office" party a couple years ago. I was Kelly (his Indian reference) and he was Ryan. Not our finest picture...I was 7 mos. pregnant and Tom hadn't begun to lose his weight yet. All that for, why there's pizza in the picture. :)

First of all I had to laugh out loud (at 1:00 am) at the picture of you in the glasses! I have to agree with Tom when he says you are incredibly artisitic, and doing the most important job out there. I hope you had a fabulous 30th birthday! I love ya tons and wish I could be with you to give you a ginormous hug!

You've had a birthday, shout, "Hooray!" We want to sing to you today! One year older and wiser, too. Happy birthday to you! (you can imagine me and my girls singing that to you in our "lovely" voices!) We love you! :)

And the Jarom St. birthday's have begun! Happy Birthday Rachel! A few other things: You and Tom can pull off being Indian amazingly! YAY Reese on potty training- I am a huge believer that they will do it when they are ready. I love the marble jar and the puppy from Michaels (and that she used a coupon)!
