I am feeling very behind on all the blogging I've been wanting to do, so why not start off with an overwhelming marathon picture post? Enjoy!
For Thanksgiving this year, we headed down to the perfectly temperatured Las Vegas to chubbify ourselves properly. (It's my blog so I get to make up words if I want.) Tom had to work straight up until the Wednesday before, so my mom flew out so she could drive down with the girls and me a little early. Sooo nice of her and much appreciated! (Tom flew down later.) Reese was beside herself waiting for Momoo and even had a paper chain counting down the days until she arrived. (She would even randomly ask her friends the week leading up to it, "Do you love my Momoo?")

When Reese woke up and first saw my mom she ran to her and cuddled for a good 45 min-1 hr. They really have a sweet and special little bond.
Just in case I haven't made it clear with my hundreds of Vegas posts, I love going to Vegas and spending time with my family! And it usually works out that we get to spend lots and lots of time with these guys (my brother Adam, Nora, Charlie, and June) since we all stay at my parents' house. They are so much fun!
Reese would especially agree about their fun-ness (it's my blog) as she loves being Charlie's little shadow.
Superman & Superwoman
playing in the "castle" (aka tent)
tv buddies
many a hammock ride
As for
Miss Claire---she was a little unsure about those hammock rides,
and her crazy Uncle Taylor (he he),

but she was very sure of her love for the doggies and kitty,
She took her first long stretch of steps in attempt to get to the dog while we were there.and for all the
yummy food she was served...
Enjoying her first Thanksgiving meal
Yummy cupcakes for a pre-birthday celebration with her birthday buddy! Jordan and Claire are exactly 12 years apart. (It's kind of cool to me that I was there for both of their births too.)
Other highlights of our week (in completely random order):
Bowling on Thanksgiving morning

Sleepover in the "castle"
Christmas lights at Sunset Park

Ahhh, I could just eat that sweet little face!a visit with my FAVORITE Grandpa Bill & Dorothy

a victorious BYU game!

and of course...great company and food on Thanksgiving day!
Sorry for the bluriness and blocked heads, family! Love and miss you all!

What a fun family you have! I'm glad that you guys had such a great Thanksgiving. We are excited to see you guys at Christmas:)!
So fun! I'm jealous you got to spend your Thanksgiving in a warmer climate.. It looks like you had a blast, but could you take down that darn picture of BYU's "victory"? ;) And what a fun thing to go bowling on Thanksgiving morning. I'm surprised you found a place open to do that.
We sure do miss you guys. I can't believe Claire is ONE. I am glad you had a good Thanksgiving. I love the pictures in the car with everyone heads poking out. Have a great day!
Looks like alot of fun. And how nice of your mom to come and travel with you. I haven't been home for Thanksgiving since I've been married. At least I can enjoy Christmas this year.
