This Morning's Breakfast...

has been brought to you by Sheer Laziness.
The original request was mac and cheese which I would normally say no too, but when she added healthy applesauce to the menu, it sealed the "I don't really care this morning" deal.

It definitely could be worse I know (and it has). And hey, she got a fruit and a protein. Wait, does powdered cheese count as a protein?

Who cares...she looks ecstatic...how can you resist that?

So far this week my kids have had leftover pizza and rhubarb pie for breakfast.

Cole requested "aroni" for breakfast too! You can make it up at lunch and dinner. :-)

Well if your version of 'laziness' includes having her dressed and hair done before breakfast, then you're in a whole 'nother league compared to us!

That is hilarious...because at least 4 times a week when i ask Annie what she wants for breakfast its mac and cheese! and have to admit on my really tired days...I don't fight it :) ha! at least you added fruit to the whole thing :)

Totally been there! As far as I'm concerned, it makes life alot more interesting to not have the same things for breakfast all the time.

Like my dear friend says, 'It doesnt matter what you eat at what time, with kids, you're just glad they eat something.' (Ok thats not exact but she was telling me how her son was eating chicken nuggets for breakfast. Sometimes its just good they're eating.) I love it!

I agree, at least she is eating something. And, the applesauce was a good addition. We've given Katie P&J for breakfast many times and cooking the mac and cheese took more time then pouring a bowl of cereal so I venture to say that you were even being a little ambitious (even the reheating takes more time).

I love her hair. She is SO adorable!
