Preschool

Reese did such a great job listening and taking instruction in her gymnastics class that I really wanted to continue a structured class-type setting for her. So a few months ago some friends and I decided to do a preschool co-op with our girls. They're pretty young (some not even 3) so we're keeping it pretty low key and only doing it one day a week for now.

2 weeks ago, Reese arrived for her first day of preschool all excited and ready to go with her brand new "pack-pack" (stolen from momoo's house) and fancy new hair-do (we call it "the Jocy").

You'd think that having a nicer, speedier camera would make it easier to get Reese to cooperate for pictures. Not so much. I think it's made it worse.

Bet you can't guess what she was saying to me on her walk up to the door...
Not "no pictures", but it does rhyme with SHMOP! Look at that attitude!

And yes, I got a picture every step of her way to the door. It was so cute and I just couldn't help myself.

4 super cute preschoolers!
Madi, Reese, Sadie, Madison

Sitting on their mats eager and ready to learn.

We're 2 successful weeks down and we've even added another little friend to the mix since.

SO CUTE!! Jacey and I did a co-op when she was 3 and it was great. She loved it, I loved it - no complaints. The girls from pre-preschool are still some of her bestest friends.

Aw, those pics are cute, and hillarious.

The only kind of preschool I ever went to was called "Joy School", and the moms in the group took turns teaching the curriculum. I remember loving it!

What kind of structure are you doing? We're about to start one with Austin. It's funny that you have all girls in your class. In my ward it's ALL boys. The two (yes two) nursery classes are each 10 boys and 2 girls.

Co-op preschool is the best. Especially for kids Reese's age. She is so sassy and cute - I love it. I hope Josie is like that!

Maybe I should send Declan over during joy school time so he could get some one on one time in with the ladies!

The hairdo matches the personality! How could you be anything but sassy with that do going. I miss her sooo much!

I remember Joy school on the parent end. After one year of doing it and cute little Rachel clinging to my leg and Ryan Bybee climbing all over the fireplace, I decided that I had enough "Joy" in my life. The next I paid for pre-school.

I'm so glad you're doing your preschool and that it's going so well. This is such a fun time of life--I always feel like I'm discovering life all over again through the eyes of my preschoolers. Love the hairdo! You'll have to tell show me how you do it next time you're here.

So cute. I am doing the exact same thing with Jocelyn and two friends one day a week. Jocy is totally into it and the two boys are still deciding.
