Our huge diaper bill is here to stay!
At least for a little while. Turns out the Reesers couldn't care less about potty training. And in the end, neither did I. She wasn't ready and it just wasn't worth pushing (pun intended).BUMmer.
All in all though, I think we left it positively for when we want to pick up with it next time. Thanks for all your helpful tips!
There is one thing that I am absolutely not bummed about though....I got a new (new to me) camera. I bought my dear old friend Cynthia's camera from her. (Check out her site HERE.) It's a Nikon D50 and I'm absolutely thrilled about it. Now I just need to learn how to use it. It's so fast and actually takes pictures that are in focus and not grainy. Novel concept I know. I'm so not used to that that I hardly know what to do with myself.
I guess I'll just keep taking more pictures of these cute bums
and sweet little faces.
P.S. We run around in diapers here a lot more often than I care to admit!

I'm with you on not pushing kids to potty train. I don't think it helps them. I think it makes it worse. She'll do it when she is ready.

Those bums are stinkin' cute! And don't stress about potty-training - when it comes it comes. Look at you rockin that camera. Your pics look great! Reese's hair is looking so LONG.
we are at the same point with James - he could care less about wearing pull ups. We backed off too and James is finally relaxed about it. Sometimes he goes potty in the potty chair but not always.
Don't you love havign a nice camera. I got a Nikon D60 for Christmas and absolutely adore it. Now i'm addicted to taking pictures of my kids.
I am totally with you on the potty training!! Go RACH!! Oh and I actually have been meaning to tell you a story about potty training and it will make you feel even better about not "pushing" her!

I think Reese is like Abby in that there really is no sense pushing things on her that she doesn't want to do. I think once Reese decides to do it because it's her decision, she'll be trained in a day!!

What adorable little bums!!! You will sooo love your new camera...I got one a few months ago - but Canon - and can't get enough of it!!! Good luck on the potty training thing...don't worry, it will happen one day :)

What brand are those diapers, they are so cute! Your girls are so stylish in their diapers while Ridge is just white-trash I think:)
The diapers are Target brand. I've always been a total diaper snob and have only ever used Pampers, but Target has improved them just recently along with the new cute design. Used to hate them. It also helps that Claire is past the blow-out stage.

Good for you! Potty training will come and there's no sense in stressing about it. Besides - those are some super cute diaper bums!
