So Lucky!

Within the first hour of my parents arriving, Reese and my mom sat patiently at the kitchen table as I dished them each up a piece of brownie. Reese looked at my mom, grinned from ear to ear and squealed, "We're both so lucky!" (The girl likes brownies.)

Well, I would most definitely echo Reese in that Tom, Reese, Claire and I were so very lucky to have my parents come visit! I'm not trying to make anybody feel guilty, but we almost never have visitors, so we were so extremely excited. (Well, it's okay if you feel a little bit guilty. ;) )

We all stayed pretty entertained with....

doing LOTS and LOTS of puzzles

Going to the Park

Claire passing "The Test." A rite of passage for all Koch babies.

Going to the Movies

It was a very cool theater that actually served dinner too. We saw Ice Age in 3D which turned out to be a bit too scary with the glasses on.

Painting Nails while sitting on the potty (still no success in that arena)

and a favorite activity around here...making brownies!!!
Making brownies is a full contact sport for Reese. She shows the brownie batter no mercy! My mom couldn't stop laughing at how quickly Reese kept spooning it into her mouth. That's my girl!

It was so great having them out. And there's an open invitation for everyone else!

Tom's not in any of these pictures because he had a super busy "close week". His boss actually had a heart-attack plus he was doing extra to get ready to go on our Idaho reunion trip.

What fun!!! We love visitors too and never seem to get enough of them. Reese is such a little cutie and is definitely my kind of girl...brownies are the best (especialy the batter)!!!

Great. Now I feel guilty. j/k. It's so funny letting little ones help "cook". Austin is the same way when we make smoothies. He starts spooning it out of the blender before I can finish getting all the ice in. And I'm glad you liked the belly boobs story.

My girls are that way with cookie dough - I'm lucky if we have any to cook when all is said and done. Your folks are awesome. Love that pic of Reese in the swing.

You make your house look like so much fun that I'm sure you're about to get a full calendar of bookings. :) Love it all.

Emmett, Idaho for Tom's side of the family? Please say yes! We would LOVE to see you! And I am all over the open invitation... I'll be in touch for further details. :) It looks like you had a blast with your parents and I still cannot get over how stinkin' cute your girls are. I haven't seen Reese in so long, but I still want to bite her cute little cheeks! And I love the way Claire always has her lips tucked in. So adorable!

So fun! Don't you just love visitors--I looked forward to them like Christmas was coming :-). The girls are just as cute and adorable as ever. I loved the last post....I should probably write my blog a note, too. It's gotta be feeling pretty neglected at this point.
