Roly-Poly 4 Month Old

Claire turned 4 months old yesterday. Sure, 4 months may seem like no significant milestone, but Claire sure seemed to think so...

She started off her big day by celebrating with some of her favorite little buddies at a play date.

Believe it or not, Miles (on the right, obviously) is the youngest. Ummm...is my daughter wearing "mom jeans"??

She also decided 4 months old was a good time to learn to roll over from her stomach to her back.

Well, this video doesn't even show her actually rolling. She had done it about 5 times, then was probably a little pooped out once I got the camera out. I still think it's cute because of how Reese is talking to her though. And hey, I thought stuff like this wasn't supposed to be as exciting the second time around. I called Tom at work as soon as she first rolled and was probably just as excited to tell him as I was when Reese first did.

And most importantly she thought that 4 months old was a great time to finally sleep her first full night in her crib.

I'm sure it's something I'm doing wrong, but both my girls have been major spitter-uppers/acid refluxers and have always slept so much better at an incline (in a bouncer or swing). They were both in their rooms early on, but just took a little longer to get comfy in their cribs.

I also have to say that one of my favorite things about Miss Claire is her chubby roly-poly body. I love that when I give her a bath I have to work my way under her chin and between all the creases on her legs to really get her clean. I think it's so cute and it really makes me laugh.

She is seriously such a happy little thing. She smiles A LOT. I know I always mention that. I guess I'm still in a bit of shock of how easy of a baby she is. I won't mention any names, but somebody else I know was a tad more difficult!

Of course Claire is still a baby, which means a lot of work, but man am I happy to be her mommy!
