Just kidding about the title. I just wanted to answer a few of the questions some of you had about Reese's birthday stuff.
- The cake stand is just a styrofoam one I found on e-bay for a little under $10 (plus shipping of course). I just looked up "3-tier cake stand". For styrofoam I thought it looked pretty nice. I just jazzed it up a bit by hot-gluing some cute ribbon around the edges. And now the ribbon peels off just fine so I can decorate it differently for something else.
- The birthday hat is one I got from Target last year. It came with numbers you can switch out up to age 5. Hollie Smart has the boy version, but I haven't seen them at Target since. :(
- And thanks for the compliments on the cake. I do have to say, my friends, that it looked much sloppier in person though. Sometimes having a not nice camera camouflages things. I just made the polka dots with gum paste and food coloring I found in the cake decorating section at Wal-Mart. I rolled it out and cut the shapes out with a stencil I had from another project. Tom even helped out because it turned out to take me much longer than I anticipated. But it was still fun to do...huh Tom?
Anyway, that's all.
