Marissa's Wedding

Just stole this from Marissa's blog.

This is my friend Marissa and her now husband Curtis coming out of the Salt Lake Temple last weekend. Yeah Marissa! Everything was beautiful (especially the bride) and went absolutely perfect...or so it at least appeared to me! This is the only picture I got and of course it was with my camera phone. (Quick note: I got a new camera last month but it was the biggest piece of junk I've ever purchased. Even with a fully charged battery it would only turn on sometimes. So I took that back and am once again in search for a new one.)

I'm so happy I was able to go out there to see her get married. She's a long time friend/old roommate from BYU. Little Hooty-Booty (Heidi) was going to be my buddy for the weekend, but had to leave town unexpectedly to be with her husband's ill grandma. So anyway, I was all alone but Marissa's family made me feel so welcome! I seriously LOVE them. They were so so sweet and funny and friendly.

It was such a quick and tiring whirlwind trip and I only averaged about 4 hours of sleep each night. That was due to a delayed flight on the way out there (the curse of Rachel) and then locking myself out of Heidi's apartment the next night. (This is a whole other story, but my brain is a little dead these days. Luckily Heidi's sister Debbie just happened to have a neighbor who was a locksmith. Thank goodness. Thanks again Debbie!) Anyway, it was a tiring trip, but it was great to see Marissa and finally meet her husband. Doesn't that sound weird Marissa?!

Yah for getting to see friends get married! Thats so neat that you got to come out to see it! Glad it was a fun trip. Here's a random thought. Every time I think of 7-11 I think of you. :)

Congrats to your friend!

Way to be so easy going about the tornado that blew through your house while you were gone.

I so wish I could've been in two places at one time. I'm glad everything worked out. I'm just sad I probably won't see you again till after the bebes are born.
