Sweet old Daisy lost her little friend Spot last week. My parents had to put him to sleep because his lower legs randomly went paralyzed. So sad.Yelling for "day-dee". Daisy is the sweetest dog and practically lets Reese lay on top of her.
Enjoying some kettle corn with momoo at her store. And of course Reese is insistent that she has her own bag! Sharing is no fun!
Mmmm...she even gets pop when she's in Vegas. Momoo is so much fun! ;)
Me, Jenny, Julie, and Emily (as in "Emily B." the consolaton prize winner). We all at one point lived in "Mormon Acres." Julie, Emily and I grew up on Jarom Street which intersects with Helaman Ave. Seriously. We had so much fun talking and catching up! Unfortunately Julie had to leave early, but the rest of us talked for over 3 hours. I miss you girls already!and hang out with my cute family.
Who I have no pictures of. Can you believe it?! Each of my siblings families had a sick kid so I didn't get to see everybody. I did go over towards the end of the week to spend a little time with both Ginger (delivering the prize) and Amy. Other than that I had some family bonding time with my parents and Michael at night watching AI (American Idol) and just hanging out. My mom and I made a special trip to Cafe Rio for lunch one day too. Yummy! We had a lot of fun and I think we could get used to living in Vegas. Now who wants to buy us a house? Any takers?
One last thing. This is completely random but I wanted to see if anybody could help me figure out this Halloween sign. Kind of like the game MAD GAB. My mom's had this tomb stone for a couple years now at her store and it drives me crazy every time I'm there. I have 2 of these tomb stones and they say, "I.M. Suchawitch" and "O.U. Creepyguy" so it's supposed to be something like that. My mom is stumped herself. Any guesses? Sorry, no hand delivered packages if you get it, just the mere satisfaction of feeling smart.

So crazy that you said something about that tombstone! I seriously ask myself all the time what in the heck that means, but have never said anything cause I just figured that maybe I was the only one that didn't get it! I was even going to tease your Mom about it the other day, like "what is this?" Hahahaha! It was so fun to see you while you were here!
Daisy is so sweet - loved the video of Reese calling her. It almost made me want to get another dog to be Dory's buddy. I think Dory is currently Jocelyn's favorite out of all of us.
Enjoy all your travels. It just kills me to now be tied down by a school schedule.

As for the tombstone, Antho and I both put our minds to it and the best we could come up with was "oh pig utter ghoul". Yeah, it makes no sense. Maybe there's a typo. Maybe the P is supposed to be an R for "Our gutter ghoul". But what's a "gutter ghoul" anyway?
I love when I get to go home and visit! Glad you had a fun time. I'm gonna have to think about the tomb stone. What kind of store does your mom have? Does she sell gutters?

Oh my gosh! I can't believe Spot is gone! That makes me sad. He was such a good dog! Looks like you had a lot of fun in Las Vegas and Reesie is adorable, as always. So cute! Please do move to Vegas, that would be so nice. I guess with your neighborhood being featured on TV for not selling homes, you probably won't be getting there too soon. But we still have another three or four years before we settle anyway, so maybe we could meet there!

Hannah, I love that you've seen the sign and haven't said anything in fear of you being the only one to not know what it means. It's kind of like those jokes where you laugh anyway even though you don't get it.
Kristie, thanks. I get Reese's clothes from all over. Old Navy, Children's Place, borrow from a friend...etc. My problem is that I think because I get it on clearance that it's justified, but then I get so much clearance stuff that I still spend too much.

Natalie, my mom's store is called Lollipops and Roses. It's a floral shop, bakery, and sells "cottage decor." Did I get it right mom? It's so dang cute! The website is www.lollipopsnroses.com although the website does not do her store justice in my opinion!

Actually yes I will be cause I'm moving there for a year. Did I tell you Nate was being deployed to Afghanistan? He leaves Feb 26th so I will be moving to Vegas for the year he's gone. So call me whenever you get to Vegas again!

I have no clue on the tombstone but I am glad you had a good visit. It is always fun going home. Sounds like you have trips like I do. Michael is so busy I usually take two or three trips home alone every year.

I loved this post! It made me homesick for going to see my family... You are just too cute and look as darling as ever! Are you losing weight? I love little Reese. she couldn't be any cuter. she's one lucky girl to get to play with a real live doggy. My poor kids will forever be without their own live one. I was watching my friend's kids yesterday and after wrestling her dog to get his leash on as he was jumping on the table...it became totally clear to me that I cannot pretend that I like dog. I do, in fact, hate them. I know I'm a horrible person for admitting that!
