More Celebrating!

Christmas day has come and gone, but this week was still filled with lots more fun when we celebrated both Tom's birthday/New Year's Eve and a second Christmas when we got a fun package in the mail.

Tom's B-Day

Even these video game haters had a really fun time playing Guitar Hero.

P.S. The look on Tom's face is "Oh, crap, my wife is totally kicking my trash."

Christmas Package

Since we were in Idaho this year for Christmas my sweet mom sent us an awesome Christmas package to open the week after we got home.

"I'm so excited for the presents momoo and dadoo sent I can hardly contain myself."

My mom never lets us down with our Christmas PJ's even if we're not there. The boys always get matching and the girls get their own matching. This year's pj's included "Dave Koch" for President shirts. Did you know my brother is running for president? ;) (Okay, so not my brother David, but it was still fun to be "supporters" with his shirts.)

Tom has been wanting a Magic Bullet for years now. He always drools over the infomercials.

My family has this ongoing joke about who our dad's favorite is. Whenever one of us is alone with him he'll say that you are his favorite daughter/son. So this year each sibling got the book You're All My Favorites.

Great way to throw the rest of 'em off track mom and dad. It's okay, your secret's safe with me. (wink, wink)

Reese in her Christmas PJ's cuddling with the surprise rat that was also sent to us. (I came down the stairs one morning and this is really how she was.)

Reese loved the stroller, Elmo book, Magna-Doodle, and other fun things my parents got her! She even loved the box and packaging peanuts. She has wanted to get in the box every day since to play and gets mad if I try and take her out. This gives us a pretty good idea for what we might get her next Christmas.

Thanks for everything mom and dad! We loved it all!

I'm a Guitar Hero fan, too! Have you ever heard of Rock Band? I played it in Utah and it's even better than GH.

Bret is going to be soooo jealous of Tom's Magic Bullet. Seriously. He's always wanted one, too. He makes fun of me for watching and buying informercial products. But this is one that he's had his heart set on for years. I won't tell him that Tom go it, though :-). That will up his desire...

Well, next Christmas she might have moved on to bubble wrap, instead of big boxes with peanuts. I would still like bubble wrap for Christmas. :-)

I got a magic bullet for Christmas 2 years ago, and I LOVE it! It is as great as the infomercial makes it sound. We also got the book "You are all my favorites" from my mom for Christmas, on account of me just having number 2. Cute story.

So, uh, what's a magic bullet?

Wow - looks like you all scored with the big box! Love the t-shirts. Tell Tom you expect 2 different types of pasta for dinner and 3 delicious desserts, all in less time than it would take you to start chopping the onions. Oh, and I love the polka dot jammies. Londyn has them too. They're my favorite. :)

I love that he got a magic bullet...I wouldn't use one, but I'm strangely addicted to the infomercials. I'm glad to hear they live up to their fame.

Jocelyn's wagon is from Target (of course.) I'm looking forward to the girls pulling her all over in it:).

I love Reese's face in the photo in her box. In the Nativity photos she looked like such a sweet Mary!

We need to have a serious magic bullet conversation. Steve and I both HATE washing the blender, but I love smoothies... Steve loves infomercials, I wonder if that runs in the family?

The extra in our photo is my cousin Aaron from Wilsonville. I don't think his family had ever before experienced our enthusiasm for the nativity so it was pretty fun to watch them take it all in.
