Mr. Mom

Our little girl has been pretty sick for the last 2 going on 3 days. She's had a fever of up to 104.2, hasn't really been eating, and has obviously been extremely irritable. Today happened to be a work day for me, and even with only working basically every other weekend, I have still been missing a lot lately. So luckily Tom was able to take a sick day and stay home with her. Besides, it was kind of cute to see him being the one taking care of her like this. They watched "High School Musical", lots of Baby Einstein, and some Baby Elmo. He also took her to the doctor where he was told she has "herpangina", which by definition is small ulcers in the mouth (which explains why she hasn't been eating). It basically is just a virus that takes about a week to run its course. I know she'll be fine, but it's just so sad to see her so lethargic. I'm so glad Tom is such a sweet and loving dad and not to mention, an amazing dancer.

tom has some SWEET moved. Maybe he should try out for "So You Think You Can Dance"!!

Sorry about Reese. it's so hard when your child is sick. I hope she gets better soon!! (However, I have learned, sometimes it's easier to have your child sick than your husband!! Don't tell Brent.)

So sad to have a sick baby--it's especially hard when they're this little and they can't tell you what or where it hurts. Hope she gets feeling better ASAP--how cute of Tom to get to be Mr. Mom.

Precious baby. That's when you truly know you're a mom, isn't it? When you would do anything to make that cute little person feel better again. Hope she feels better soon (and I hope it's not contagious). We'll see in a few days - I'll call you.

Paige, yeah, Tom's been working on some moves lately. It certainly is paying off isn't it. And trust me, I know what you mean about it being harder when your husband is sick! :)

Hooty, it was contagious, but I called my doctor about that very thing (since I have to babysit today) and they said that once the fever breaks other little people are in the clear. And she was down to 99.5 this morning. Yeah!!! So we should be all good for this weekend! Oh, and by the way, Reese was totally standing up by herself on the scale. Can't Austin do that?! ;) (Photoshopped my arm out.)
