We're Back

Sorry to all my fans who have been eagerly awaiting a new post. All 4 of you can now rest easy and read on.

This summer has been extra crazy and we especially packed a ton in this past week. We started off flying to Vegas, then drove to Lake Powell, then drove back to Vegas for a day and a half, then drove down to Huntington Beach, CA, then flew back to Denver. It sounds crazier than it felt. Reese was amazingly happy on this trip even with all the driving and flying and also with tooth #5 coming in. Reese is quite the frequent flyer and has been upgraded to first class while mommy and daddy sit back in coach.

Vegas

My good friend Blaise happened to be having her Bachelorette party down in Vegas the same weekend we flew down there. I am one of her bridesmaids in her wedding in two weeks. I worked with her at my last orthodontic office when we first moved here to Colorado. She is such an amazingly sweet and beautiful woman and I am so excited for her to get married. This picture was taken at a restaurant called Voodoo Cafe on the 50th floor of the Rio Hotel. Sadly I wasn't able to make the after party at Chippendale's (seriously, that's where they went). :)

Lake Powell

Tom being manly anchoring the houseboat. A couple years ago my dad and his friend bought a houseboat together as an investment. This was the first time Tom and I were actually able to get there. It was a pretty quick trip, but we had a really fun time.

By the way, "Dadoo" & "Momoo" was started by the first grandkid in our family, Jordan. When he started talking he randomly called all grandmas "momoo" and all grandpas "dadoo." Pretty cute if you ask me.

Back in Vegas

This is where our little family began almost 4 years ago. Tom and I were able to go back and do a session later that night.

Huntington Beach

First time meeting cousin Charlie. She wasn't quite sure what to do with him. She ended up licking his face a couple times, because hey, why not? Everything's edible right? Little Charlie is so dang cute and we are so glad we got to meet him so early in his life.
