We can't believe little Miss Reese is going to be 6 months old next week. She's still a little squirt, weighing in at only 13 lbs., but we are just amazed every day at all her new developments.
She's eating solids now. We had a little trouble with our aim with carrots as you can see. She absolutely loves fruits and vegetables. She bobs her head all around with excitement and practically attacks the spoon to get more after each bite.
She's also a big fan of The Price is Right. Who doesn't love Bob? We sure are going to miss him after he retires this summer. Too bad Reese won't be able to grow up and go on the show and tell him she's watched him ever since she was a little girl.

We're also trying to teach Reese to be a little more self-sufficient and start reading her own stories at night. She's pretty advanced as you can see. :) This is her absolute favorite book. When we go into her room at night she immediately looks to the spot where that book is usually kept. Then she waves her arms around frantically with excitment as we read it to her.

Reese is adorable!! I love that little person chair...where did you get it? And who isn't a fan of "The Price is Right". I totally grew up watching that at 9 a.m.--too bad it comes on here at like 11 a.m. and by then we're on with our morning routine. So sad.
Hey--are you guys close to Winter Park? I kept telling Bret that i needed to call you and hook up but there wasn't any down time. But what a waste to be all the way in Colorado and not see you!
Is Reese seriously still 12 pounds? Man, Blake was 12 pounds at like two weeks!!! What am I feeding this kid?
See this is why we have blogs. There are so many cute pictures and stories that need sharing! I need to get a photo of Austin "reading". And what ever happened to our Price is Right adventure to Cali? Missed opportunities, eh?

Marisa- We're about 2 hours from Winter Park. I obviously would have loved to see you, but I knew that you guys were going to be so dang packed with stuff to do. That is so cool that you guys got to go stay there! I'm jealous! Reese actually just barely hit exactly 13 lbs the other day. She's in the 10th percentile, but that's how all Koch babies started out. We had NO problem filling out later. :) That chair is called a "Bumbo." Seriously one of the best baby inventions ever! You can get them at Target, but I bet Blake wouldn't like it too much at this point, well maybe. Reese is starting to squirm her way out of it. Wow, I might as well have emailed you!
