Oh this boy! How I love him so. I completely thought we'd be doing a Team Umi Zumi party (his favorite show), but about a month or so before his birthday, he somehow developed a love for all things Spiderman. He could hardly wait for the big day, and for 2 weeks leading up to it thought we were heading to the park for the celebration every time we left the house. Imagine his delight when it finally happened!
He greeted all his guests with enthusiasm, took their presents, and tried to open them as fast as he could before Mean Mom could stop him. After some bubble blowing, kite flying, pizza eating, playground playing, and a Spiderman tattoo parlor...
we finally gave into his demands and let him open the presents. He loved them all and immediately staked his claim. Tom grabbed them all to take them out to the car so Everett could spend the rest of the time playing with friends, but he followed right behind waving and shouting "Bye!" to everyone. He had apparently gotten what he came for!
We were able to lure him back with cake though. He is my son.
All in all, it was a fun little party and I think everyone had a good time.
We're so happy so many of his cute little spidey friends were able to come help us celebrate!
Everett, Caleb, Finn, Dulcie, Marcus, Barrett
