Disclaimer: I feel like such a fraud if I don't say right up front that I stole every single food/table-setting idea from pinterest. Like I didn't use an ounce of my own creativity--which was wonderfully perfect seeing as I currently have a tired, non-working, pregnant-lady brain.
We celebrated this little dude turning 2 with a truck-themed party (of course!) at the park.
We hid the cake from Everett until the very last second knowing that he would be grabbing at it.
It was supposed to look like a giant mess so the Oreo crumbs he and Claire picked off ended up making no difference. :)
Some of the Construction Crew on their lunch break:
And this is so Everett: Loving his friends,
but not being able to resist pestering them at the same time.
Cake Time!
So kind of I loved having a party at the park! Yeah for a spring birthday! It's a lot less stressful taking your mess to the park and not having to worry about getting your house all cleaned only to have it destroyed 2 minutes later. Plus the kids are completely entertained running around and I didn't have to do any games. Thanks for being born in May, Everett!
Also, just thanks for being born. :)

Your disclaimer is hilarious. I pin all sorts of cute stuff on Pinterest and never do half of them so I say take your credit! Because even if the ideas weren't originally yours, you had to execute it!
Looks like it was a fun party and Claire's face when she put that pink hat on Everett is pretty funny. She seems like such fun!
Super cute. Wow. 2! Where does the time go?
I love the cake! I say anytime you can have a party outside it's better!
Wow what a cute party!! I may just have to steal these ideas for my own little man next week! (I still haven't figured out how to use Pinterest, although to be fair I haven't really tried yet either!!)
I love the cake! it's soo cute! I think I will be making this for my husbands birthday!!
I love this party! And YAY for parties away from home. I can't believe he's already 2. I love Pinterest and I have no shame in using other people's creativity. Hope you're doing well and it's not too hot (aka swelling season) there yet.
