The View from My (Dirty) Kitchen Window

(I actually started this post a few weeks ago, but never got to finishing it. Shocker. But with all our MID-APRIL(!) snow outside today I figured it was the perfect day to finish it up!)

Yes, anybody living in my neck of the woods is surely looking at all the same snow out their windows right now. BUT I'm pretty certain that nobody (unless maybe you're a creepy neighbor) had this same view of my littles and their daddy in the snow.

I loved looking out my window to these cute little scenes! I had a fabulous time being nice and cozy inside cooking dinner while the kids and Tom spent hours out there. Tom may have a few faults, but being a dud of a dad is certainly not one of them!! He loves his kiddos so much.

And now a message to our wacky "Spring":  Please tell the snow that while we have had fun with it.....it is TIME TO GO!

A backyard snow hill. Good idea. I'll have to keep that one in mind for next year. Your cute kids did amazing in the cold. Hours, really? Mine never last that long before they are either cold or bored. Or maybe it's me who gets too cold and bored...

Oh that is so cute!! But I agree, April is no time for snow. We had snow at the end of March and I thought that was too much!

Tom is such a good dad! You have some pretty lucky kiddos. I don't think we've had nearly as much as you, but I'm dang sick of waking up to snow! And the freezing cold wind is killing me. I need some Vegas spring!
