PRESCHOOL!

Clairey-Berry started preschool today!
(Cute chalk idea from HERE.)

The only tears that were shed were some silent ones from a few weeks ago when I first agreed to do the co-op with my friend. I was very hesitant to do it. Like as in I kind of said no until Tom forced gently encouraged me to say yes. I got pretty burnt out after doing Reese's a few years back, so I was not left too excited for future years. But Claire's little crew is a whole year older than Reese's co-op group was. And seeing how excited Claire has been about the whole thing has actually gotten me really excited. She just feels so BIG!

Getting off "the bus". (Aren't her cheeks so squeezable?!)

Claire, Kaden, Mikey, & Ayla

She absolutely LOVED her first day. Her only complaint is that she doesn't get to see Reese very much on preschool days due to afternoon kindergarten. It has seriously been so darling to hear them talk to each other about how sad they are about their opposite schedules.

And now for keeping it real: how I got Claire to cooperate for the sidewalk pictures...Smarties. She is 3, afterall! :)

Adorable! I love the phase of life that your family is in right now. Nothing makes me more nostalgic than Back to School time.

I was just about to say how amazed I was that Claire actually posed for a picture... then you had to go and reveal the bribery truth.

So I debated about having Austin do afternoon kindergarten in order to have opposite schedules and less squabbling time, but Summer's nap schedule ultimately trumped my decision. I don't know though, you'll have to let me know if you prefer this (not that I can do anything about it now).

Claire is such a cutie! I hope you have a great experience with her co-op. I'm sure she will love you for doing it. I got kind of burned out doing Jacey's too and never did one with Londyn. But I kind of wish I had. Happy back-to-school season. :)
