Woohoo!
It was 2 months ago when the dentist first told Reese that she had a slightly wiggly tooth. She was BEYOND thrilled and got straight to work wiggling and making all the preparations. (You didn't know there were preparations for losing a tooth, did you?!)
She hand-sewed her very own tooth pillow with Momoo while we were in Vegas.
And we also got this book (recommended by a friend) which gave us some great insight as to how the Tooth Fairy does it all. Super cute, by the way!
She finally lost it about 2 weeks ago......at 1:00 in the morning! It made me laugh that she was wiggling it in the middle of the night. She ran straight in our room to tell us. (Tom has no recollection of that event. Shocking. :)
She stored it in a special baggy during the day,
then put it in her pillow at bedtime.
When Reese saw her 4 shiny quarters the next morning, she was thrilled. She confessed that at first she kind of thought the Tooth Fairy wasn't real, but then when she saw the money, she KNEW she was real. Thanks for not letting us down, Tooth Fairy! Those 4 shiny quarters were of course gone the very next day after a trip to the Dollar Store, but luckily she's got 2 more wiggly teeth following close behind!
P.S. Okay, so I need a recommendation for a good point and shoot camera. These camera phone pictures are killing me! Yes, I am almost dead. Any suggestions?!

I love my Kodak easy share.
Congrats Reese! I loved this post. Reese is so cute.
Wait wait wait - no way is she old enough to be losing teeth. Didn't she just get them?
Ahhh, her first lost tooth. Abby is soooo disappointed that she hasn't lost any yet. She's alredy six and it seems like everyone in her kindergarten class has already lost at least one. When did Reese get her first teeth as a baby? Abby didn't get her first tooth until she was 15 months old so the dentist said she would probably lose them later too. Reese sure looks cute with that missing tooth though!!
Cute. Love the pillow. Good job Momoo.
On the camera, you should at least look into getting a smart phone. Then you can have a better camera, but still always have it with you and you don't have to change your plan to get data at all - just use it as a phone/camera/mp3 player. You can get a decent one for the price of a camera.
I have a Samsung Dart. It's cheap and it takes good enough pictures (3 megapixels). However, I'd like to spend more to get a better camera on my next phone though, so there is definitely a cost vs convenience factor.
I just love the enthusiasm and excitement that kids have for things like the tooth fairy. What a cute pillow...and what a cute new smile!
Aw, she's so cute. How fun you made it so special for her. Totally hilarious to imagine her running into your room in the dead of night after she wiggled out the tooth. Also, I'm so proud of you for giving her four quarters for a tooth. That's so appropriate.
I've only used Canons, but I haven't had a problem. My PowerShot worked really well for years (and then it suddenly didn't).
So cute!!! :)
Hey I have a camera you can use! I got a new one, and my old one is just sitting around. Let me know! Way cute post BTW. That is a great book huh? Love the toothless wonders!
I can't believe she lost a tooth already. I love the smile with the gap. That pillow is adorable, too.
My point and shoot is a Nikon Cool Pix and I really like it. Very small but takes good photos.
