Soooo....turns out we didn't have the most romantic of Valentine's Days this year. I picked out my own flowers (actually more of a treat for me than you might think) and the kids joined us for our traditional romantic fondue dinner. 
But it also turns out that even without the romance, it was still a pretty darn wonderful day! To explain, the girls and I had been in Vegas for 2 weeks (hence the blog slacking) while Tom was putting in some late hours at work. So being all together with the 3 people I love most was a pretty perfect way to spend the day o' love. Happy (late) Valentine's Day!
P.S. I almost forgot! Sweet Tom did win some major points by greeting the girls and me at the airport with flowers. There you go...there was romance!

your vday was a lot better than ours. i'm not sure one thing went right that day. but, even after all the chaos and everything going wrong, i was still surrounded by the people i love most! and that's what counts, right? glad you are all reunited and enjoying a nice dinner together!
