A Bjorkman Christmas

Christmas Eve
We arrived in Idaho just in time for the Bjorkman Christmas Eve festivities...
the Christmas Eve dinner buffet (Swedish theme this year) followed by lots of Christmas music around the piano.

Tom hitting (???) the high note during his solo of "O Holy Night".

Reese accompanying him on the recorder. Tom forgot to bring along a Christmas sweater for singing, as requested by one of the siblings. But I think we all could agree that he more than made up for it by bringing along his sweet dance moves instead.
Sorry ladies, he's taken.

We were also able to feel a bit of the Koch family Christmas love thanks to my wonderful madre who shipped the family Christmas PJ's up to Idaho for us! Trying to get PJ pictures turned a little more into a bit of a wrestling match though.

"Pinned" with love!
Right before bed, Reese put out a special little treat for Santa. We mixed it up a bit this year with scotcharoos (also courtesy of Sherie...lucky Santa).

Christmas Morning

Before getting out of bed, Reese gasped then whispered to me, "I hear Santa!" When it was time to come out, we checked out the scene.
She was right! Santa had most definitely been there! He completely devoured the milk and scotcharoos and even left a little reindeer milk (the pink drink) for us to enjoy. He also left the girls some pretty exciting presents.
(The cute back-pack was actually from Bendrea)
It sure makes Christmas morning feel magical again when you have little ones that get so excited!
More to come on the rest of our week.

Good times. I hope Santa considered the challenge of packing all those presents back to CO ;o)! I have to agree, Christmas with a kid who "gets" it is a lot of fun!!

Fun times indeed!! I loved their cute matching pajamas. But not nearly as much as I loved Tom's SWEET dance moves. NICE!!!

Totally agree with Dadra! I do love to be with family for the Christmas holiday, but it sure makes for difficult packing. Take advantage while they're young... it gets harder the older they get. I'm glad you had a fun time and that your side of the family could be involved, too. We love you guys! I'll have to tell Andy he has some competition for the sweetest dance moves! :)

How in the world did Santa fit that life size doll in his suitcase, I mean sleigh? I think those were suppose to be on the sleigh to Mexico but I am happy to see it made a detour to Idaho! (We missed you guys too over the holiday.)

My favorite part of this post is the fact that Tom is wearing a Koch shirt during his sweet dance moves. Way to represent Tom!! (fist pump) Oh, and he's also wearing for his birthday bash down below. Love it.
