Look out Tony and Angela, Reese is also fighting for the position.
A few examples:
- The other day Reese and I were sitting at the table eating a snack and she wanted me to get her some water. She then looked at me very seriously and added "Mommy, obey Reesey. Be a good girl." Stinker!
- Then today at the store Reese was observing a mom getting upset at her son for not listening. Reese looked at the boy and repeatedly told him, "Obey your mommy." Now that's a little better...maybe not her place, but better.
- And I have to include this hilarious little dog training session with my dad and Reese. Listen to the end when she's saying the opposite of my dad.
Reese is quite an interesting little character. While she is definitely feisty, she's also so much fun and such a goofball. She is such a tease and constantly making us laugh. She's starting to say funny things and doing this weird silly voice at random. Now if only we can channel the feisty side of her personality for good things...so maybe when she's a teenager she'll stand up for things that are right. I really wouldn't mind if she was a feisty prude like her momma. Wish us luck with the "channelling".

That's cute. I think fiesty is good, she'll probably need it in this world! Ha ha, I was reading another friend's blog where she quoted her 2 year old, and the 2 year old said "Daddy, you are too cute!" It made me laugh because I'M SURE she's been told that herself, and so now she's just repeating it. So, anyways, do you ask Reese to obey a lot? Ha!
That video is cute. This age is fun where they really are saying and doing things that crack you up as parents, but that can also be a little hard to control at times. She is very cute and good luck on the chanelling.
Seriously the cutest video ever. Her voice is so stinkin adorable.
It's almost like I'm reading a post about my own little one. You sure you don't wanna move back to Utah? All the cool kids are doing it. :)
I don't know who Becky is but I like her. :)
Love that she told you to be a good girl. That's hillarious. She and Londyn must be two peas in a pod.
Yeah, I think Reese and Abby were cut from the same mold!! She is such a cutie (and too-smart-for-her-own-good, right?) Here's to hoping that they both grow up to be "straight-liners" as teenagers (before we pull all our hair out!!)
Rachel, this is great! I love it. Reese looks like a pro with Molly. Now if we can get her to train my kids with her, too.
That is the cutuest video. I love how she is following your Dad around and trying to inch closer and closer to him.
Glad you put up a video too. It's so fun to watch that big personality in that cute little body.
I love a little fiestiness in a girl. I can't wait to see you guys..it's been way too long. It will be so much fun for our girls to play together.
I love her sassiness! I always dread when I hear something that I say come out of my kids mouth - it didn't sound so wierd when I said it. Atleast you know that they are listening to you, right??
very cute. i think this is how avery is going to be as well!
Ha, I love it that she was telling you to obey. What a little rascal! Way to be a strong, independent little lady Reese. I told Adam, you're either born a strong-willed Koch woman or you marry one.
