We took Claire to JCPenney for some 6 months old pictures just like we did for Reese. I think I've been way too spoiled by my great photographer friends because I'm not typically a huge fan of store studio type pictures. But I do have to say that although Tom and I think the photographer was a little slow on the draw for some of Claire's bigger smiles, she overall did a pretty great job!
Claire suddenly decided right at this moment that it was time to sit up. She hadn't really done this yet.
This letter "C" is from her bedroom. By the way, I think I'm finally going to post some pictures of her room soon. Finally!
This one just makes me smile.
This is actually my favorite (above). I think that sometimes my favorites aren't necessarily anybody elses. I love this one in particular because this is the EXACT face I see when I go to get her out of her bed in the morning or after naps. She now always has her two little fingers in her mouth and that sweet little face looking up at me.
And finally, a classic Claire smile.

Those are sooo cute. I have to admit that my favorites are always different than others also. I like pictures that show a bit about who they are. . which usually end up being the non-posed ones. :) :) She sure is sweet. :)

I know what you mean about capturing the face that you see everyday. I often think about that when I take pics of Ruthie - how to capture the expressions I see. Love the cute hair bows you picked for her.

Definitely a sweet little face! I agree about the photographers being a little slow. With Brady a smile was so rare in the portrait studio that I felt like screaming when they missed it. I love her cute outfits and accessories. Now I'm going to have to learn about those things. :) Oh, and way to go Claire for sitting up already. Next thing you know she'll be crawling.

I love her dress in the first picture. That is so so cute! That last picture of her smiling is so precious.... looking at that makes me happy!

Cute Baby girl!! K so I have been looking at houses everyday this week! We thought we had one yesterday and then that changed! :( But all for the better I guess cause now i am gonna find something even nicer! So tomorrow I am headed to an area not too far from you! I think of you everyday cause I want to call and get together!!
