And all these years I've called myself a Vegas girl!!!
Well, I believe it is now official because I went to my first ever full on Elvis Vegas wedding a couple weeks ago.
(If it's not a cut off head/Tom crazy face, then it's major shadowy/sun in the face. Whatev.)
Tom's best friend from growing up, Richard, married his little lady friend, Amanda, in true Vegas fashion at the Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel.
It was crazy, it was hilarious, definitely a wedding to remember, and just plain fun. And any old Felicity fans out there...Scott Foley (Noel aka the boy she should have picked) sat right behind me.
(Sorry, Tom. Crazy wife strikes again with a giant picture of Scott Foley on our blog.) And I must be getting shyer in my old age because although I'm pretty sure he caught me staring at him I couldn't bring myself to ask him for a picture or even talk to him.
The wedding was definitely a blast, but of course my favorite Vegas attraction is most definitely my family!
And if you think the blurriness of my pictures gets much better...think again. Stupid camera!

We had such a great time that I almost forgot the horrible drive we had down there. Almost. Although it deserves a post of its own I'll just quickly sum it up and say it was HORRIBLE! We left at 7 at night to avoid a huge snow storm that was coming the next day. But...there was still lots of snow, lots of cars literally stuck in the snow (ours included), lots of tears (mostly mine), a bunch of prayers, a few more tears (mine again), some more prayers, and after 17 straight hours and 0 hours of sleep (me and Tom) we arrived at noon the next day. The girls did surprisingly GREAT and we were all THRILLED to get to my parents house. Next time we're flying!

I've never heard of Scott Foley before but he is dreamy. Don't tell Will.
Glad you guys got there safe and sound. We had a drive like that home from Vegas to Utah one Thanksgiving - not fun. Very scary.
What's with the spray bottle? Did I miss something? Have I mentioned lately how cute your girls are? Have I also mentioned that if you want to go to Women's Conference again I would love to have them over for the day?? Jacey's still bummed that she missed Reese last year.
Ok, so Tom's head is cut off, but you look beautiful!
Dude! Scott Foley? I LOVE him on The Unit. I'd be staring just a tad myself.
You said your drive was bad. . . but holy crap 17 hours in snow?! I would definitely be flying next time too! Glad you had a fun time in Vegas- glad I was able to catch up with you for a minute. Next trip lets all get together:)
I love Reese's little twirl afters she runs up to the door! So adorable!
We should get together one of these times you take a trip to Fab-u-lous VEGAS!
Sorry to hear about the drive. It reminds me of our drive in the snow home to Provo from Vegas. It was the first time I heard you swear. Haha! I still wonder what happened to that mysterious semi truck.
Oh, and who is sitting next to Julie at the table? Is she dating someone seriously? If so congrats to her. Oh, and I can tell Michael is not gay. That facial hair keeps him on the straight side for sure. I hope I didn't offend him. :)
I hate when I take a million pics and most are blurry!!! But you guys look great :) Sounds like you had a great time! So sorry about the drive down - yuck! I am sooo not looking forward to an 8 hour flight back to HI! How fun to go to a "real" Las Vegas wedding!!!
Yuck - 17 hours! I feel for you, we did that over Thanksgiving and I've sworn off driving to St. George! Looks like the wedding was fun though, and you got to enjoy lots of warm sunshine!
I'm a Vegas girl, and I've never got to experience a cool Elvis wedding. I'm jealous. I'm so glad we got to visit with you guys for a little bit. Your girls are just as beautiful in person as they are on your blog.
You poor girl. That car trip sounds miserable. That's the kind of story that needs to be told.
I laughed out loud at the Vegas wedding...way too funny!! Cool that you saw the hottie from "Felicity"...not cool that you didn't get your picture with him though (although I would have been way too chicken as well!) Sorry about your disastrous drive to Vegas, but I'm glad you had a great time with family once you finally got there. Gotta love those lovely spring storms!!
Sounds like an exciting trip. That is so cool that Scott Foley was there. Sorry about the drive. Long drives are not fun especially in the snow.
You've just reminded me of the injustice of Felicity being canceled. All that controversy about the ratings being great, but the network pulling it anyways, and around the same time that happened to Claire Danes and Jared Leto on My So Called Life Too. 10 or 15 years later you'd think i'd be over it... :)
what a fun wedding! i love the bride's dress.
the cupcakes look super yummy (and so does the hottie who sat behind you!)
I need a new post!
I love that Table It is huge. That is freakin' awesome. I know it sucked to get there but isn't it totally worth it. I just got back and already miss it.
