Easter??

A little behind here. (and I only wish I meant my own)
Sure, you've heard of plenty of little "Claire-Bears".....BUT have you ever heard of a "Claire-Bunny"??? Well, this Easter we happened upon the cutest little Claire-Bunny you've ever laid eyes on. (And that is the same coat that Reese wore a couple years ago when she was mistaken for a boy. Click HERE for story.)

And although not nearly as cute, we also saw a few other bunnies at a community Easter Egg hunt. You can't quite tell from these pictures but Reese actually became quite infatuated with the Easter bunny this year. Really though, I can't blame her for her icy glare in this one. Could they have possibly made Mrs. Bunny a tad more freaky looking? Seriously.

No icy glares here though...Claire was just happy to be a part of the action.

From the egg hunt on, the Easter Bunny was all Reese could talk about for days. If I'd tell her "Happy Easter" I'd quickly be corrected with, "No, happy bunny." Right. Of course. I guess we better be a little better with teaching her the true meaning of Easter from now on.

So I think we've pretty much established the fact that my camera's a piece of junk, but I actually love that her hands are so blurry in this picture because it shows just how dang excited she was to dye eggs.

Getting her basket was a fun treat too. She'd be wandering around the house holding on tightly to her basket then suddenly look off into the distance and whisper, "Thank you Easter Bunny." She's in love.

And so am I...with these 2 little buddies. Easter was sort of their we are sisters and will proudly show it with matching outfits debut. Reese was pretty blown away with the idea of matching her sister. Let's hope that excitement keeps up because there will be MUCH more matching to come. Muhahaha! She was equally excited with the chance she had to hold her little sister for pictures. Oh how she loves her little "Care-bear" The bottom right shot is not super flattering of Claire, but it's the only one of Reese smiling and Claire not in a head-lock.

That's all for now, folks!

1. Mrs. Bunny? SUPER creepy.
2. Those matching dresses are adorable! Isn't that why people have two girls anyway?
3. It looks so dang cold there. I got the chills just looking at you all bundled up. BUT, that zippy thing over Claire's car seat looks so cool. I may need to get one for DC. What is it?

That Easter Bunny was pretty disturbing. I love the matching outfits on the girls! I used to do that to the boys all the time. Justin hated it though and made me promise that once Clayton started school I'd quit making them match. Sad. I say make 'em match as long as you can!

Finally a new post. I was starting to wonder what happened to you. I used to dress all 3 girls in matching outfits. It was so fun. Claire is getting so big and you are tiny. Lucky girl

I love the pics! It's so fun to dress up your girls in matching outfits. I hope it lasts for a long time... Sammy refuses to match her sisters and she's only 5! Thanks for posting.

That's awesome that Reese got so into Easter. I'm not sure how much Austin got it, but he did have fun playing hide n' seek for candy. Where'd you go for the big Easter party? Was it fun or crowded? Anyway, you're a cute mom for taking the time and effort to do those fun things with your kids.

I think Claire and Emma look similar. That picture of Claire in the woolen zippy thing looks a lot like Emma, can't wait to get them together side by side! They look related for sure though!

Love the matching dresses. Your girls are so cute! Claire-bunny is adorable. I'm grateful for the true meaning of Easter but OH how I LOVE the traditions we have with our children. Hopefully we can sneak some of the true meaning in with the fun stuff, right?

Matching outfits is the best thing about having two girls. I actually gave Jacey a choice this year - I bought two dresses for her, one like Londyn's and another that was different. She chose the one like Londyn's. So I guess she's not sick of it yet. Hopefully she won't be for a long time.

Great job on the collage and very cute matching outfits. Do you think Claire's eyes might stay blue? Very cute girls, and you're looking great too. I wouldn't be surprised if you told me all your baby weight was gone.
