Nothing Cute, Nothing Clever

Just a few pictures from our St. Patty's Day.

Okay, so I lied about "nothing cute." By the way, mom and dad's official verdict is in---the girls definitely look like sisters, but most certainly have their own look as well.

We started out the day with green Mickey Mouse pancakes. All pancakes, by order, must at least be Mickey Mouse.

Then we headed out for our Annual St. Patty's Day Walk around the neighborhood. So it's the first annual, but you have to start somewhere right?

Poor little Claire-Bear didn't actually have anything green to wear so we at least let her in on the fun with a green bow and a green pacifier.

We are loving this nice weather that allows us to go out on walks again. Reese's obsession with dogs continues and she likes to go out and look for them even if their mean scary barks freak her out a bit.

How can you not love Saint Patrick's Day? You simply just cannot not love it (catch that?)! There's nothing like an entire day randomly filled with green (I guess it's not completely random, but you know what I mean). And I'm a mean neglectful wife who didn't even get a picture of Tom in his green. I think I've been leaving him out a bit in the blogging department lately. Well, if he'd just listen to me when I tell him every morning not to go into poopy work and to just stay and play with us, maybe he'd be able to get in on a little more of the fun. Silly boy.

Happy Saint Patrick's Day Late!

Ummm, so she's scared of dogs? Think she'll go nuts about Katie? Those pictures are priceless. BTW, you look so skinny in your picture!

I ask Will to play hookey all the time but he never will. Something about paying the mortgage or other such nonsense. I love Reese's scary dog pose. That's pretty much what my girls do any time they see an animal, period. They're all scary to them.

Um, did you just have a baby? Holy cow! You are so skinny!!! That was honestly the first thing I noticed. What is your secret?

Oh yeah, your kids pictures are really cute, too. I love that you gave Claire a green binkie. I used to match Sammy's binkies with her outfits. I know, a little insane. BTW, I LOVE when you do Reese's hair like that! Where do you find her headbands?

And thanks for the comment you left on my blog. I love when you leave me a little something.

I have to agree, skinny woman. You look great. The pictures of Reese around the dogs make me sad. Big dogs CAN be so scary when your little.

Ginger, she's actually not at all scared of dogs. She just lately hasn't been liking when they bark when we're outside. I think she's developed her mother's fear of loud noises. Just 2 weeks ago she had a dog jumping on her and licking her in the face and she was laughing away. So she will LOVE Katie.

And thanks for the skinny compliments ladies, but I'm afraid if I were to take a picture of me standing up you'd actually see my 6 pack of jelly rolls and a rather curvy booty. The baby weight most definitely is not coming off as fast this time around. You're probably just used to the pictures of Rachel-fat-face from a few months ago.

Ally, the headbands are from Target.

I have to agree that you do look really good. Your girls are so cute - they have very similar looks (which is good because it's a cute look). I also love St. Patrick's Day!

Those pictures are hilarious! Ana is the same way, she LOVES dogs... at a distance.

Claire definitely has her own look and is suddenly looking so grown up to me. What a cutie! I love Reese's green ensemble - I can never keep up with kids and their fashion. :)

Reese looks SO cute in her green! No I didn't make the headband....a friend made it for me....I really want to find cute flowers so I can make some, but have also ran into your same dilemma. I have started looking online a bit, so if I find anything cute I will let you know!
