Or at least give me something "good to eat!" None of that "trick" stuff for us! We are all about the "treats" around here!
Reesers and I started off our sugar-fest by making some Halloween sugar cookies early in the day.
It was really cute to watch her "help" make them. As you can see by her face, it was a very intense process, but she loved it!
"Help" is in quotations for a reason. This is her beautiful compilation of a pumpkin, a cat, and a ghost. Shhhh....don't tell her, but I had to re-cut the shapes after I put her down for a nap.
After nap-time (which she actually took that day) she was excited and ready to decorate her cookies.

But not as excited as she was to eat the frosting! This little crazed look is actually her yelling "Nummy-Good" after swallowing a big blob of frosting. Did I mention that we enjoy sugar around here?Trick or Treating
Unfortunately, Reese was extremely freaked out by her cow costume so she ended up being a simple, but cute little witch. (A costume some friends thankfully let us borrow.) Of course we couldn't let the non-returnable cow costume go to waste so Tom very willingly ended up being "Chief Cow Head" for the evening. (A fun little nickname our neighbor gave him. It was either that or that he had some sort of giant cow-mullet.)
You be the judge.
Our little witchie-pooh was not at all shy to trick-or-treat and actually just invited herself right into several people's houses.
Anything for the candy!
And don't think I didn't join in on the fun. I was very appropriately a Pot-Belly Pig. It was supposed to go along with Reese's cow costume then Tom would have been the farmer. Little stinker girl!
Me without the mask all big and pregnant! Not my favorite sight, but Tom convinced me to put aside my vanity for the sake of some pregnancy documentation.
We had a great family night out in the extremely rare, but amazing Colorado Halloween night weather. Happy Halloween!

I love the pot belly pig. You look great. I am bigger than you and have almost 3 months to go. So not fair!!
Awww, you are a very cute pregnant lady/pig. ;) And I love that you caught those awesome expressions on Reese's face as she was helping with the cookies. She is so pretty! Like her mommy...

You guys all looked so cute (it's kind of funny that she was scared of her cow costume).
Your family is too cute!!!
Very cute and fun. Sorry to Tom, but I'm gonna vote that his costume was a cow mullet. :) And I'm so glad to hear that Reese likes to make herself feel welcome at the neighbors' houses--Eden did the same thing!
You are a very cute pregnant lady! I love your sweater.
Reese's back-up costume was really cute- and I love that she would go in the houses!! She looks like a friendly little thing!!
Cute cookies... your pot belly pig costume was cute, Enjoy these days - they sure growup fast!
Love the cow mullet - and the pot-belly pig!
You guys look sooo cute!! And those cookies do look Nummy good!!
You look great, Rachel. I can't believe that you only have a few weeks left. That cow costume is adorable. I'm glad Tom still wore it. Maybe baby #2 will like it better than Reese did. Reese still looks so cute in her witch costume.
Rach--you look so cute! I love your costumes! That's so hilarious that Reese walked into people's houses. I also love that you guys made cookies together. Reese has quite the cookie skills :-).
looks like in your short sleeves you were having weather like we were having! isn't it nice to actually go outside in your costume and not have to cover it up in a big coat? everyone looks great. you guys are always so festive. you are looking great rachel. seriously.
What a fun Halloween! Austin threatened not to wear his costume either (and we were all in theme too). Little stinkers with a mind of their own. Lucky he wore it. But good adaptation with the cow head! And yes, you seriously need to call me. Are you still going to the gym? Call me on your way!
Are you kidding me, you look so adorable. I love the costume idea for you, and Reese makes a very cute witch.
Rachel, you look great. I loved the costume and the whole farmer, pig, cow theme. I'm sure Reese would've looked so cute as a cow, but Tom was looking pretty smokin' himself with his "cow-mullet." So glad you had a good Halloween!
Cow-mullet. Definitely.
You are such a cutie patotie preggo girl. I wanna be you.
"Chief Cow" you are AWESOME!!!!!! Travis and I both laughed... that is hilarious! Oh and by the way you DON"T look like a pig. You are such a cute pregnant lady. I am so excited to see this new little girl. Reese looks so cute as a witch. HAPPY LATE HALLOWEEN!!
You look adorable, Rachel! You all do! Though I have to say the cow head is my favorite. What a way to make good use of a costume!
I am so glad you didn't let the cow costume go to waste. You crack me up!
Cuteness all around! I love your costume, you look adorable! I'm laughing at the cow mullet too, haha! Love the cookie pictures, looks like so much fun!
You may have Mom's pregnancies, but you sure don't inherit the body she and I get when we're pregnant. You look so cute (I know you don't think so.....I don't think anyone ever thinks they look good) when you're pregnant. I think the older you get the more beautiful you get too.
BTW....I was laughing out loud when I was reading your last few posts about Halloween & "Tom". That little girl of yours is a hoot!!!
You all look great, and you make a darling pregnant girl, wish I looked that good prego, seriously!
