Don't Ask How I Swallowed a Cow!!!

Earlier today I was reading "I Know an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly" to Reese, and when we got to this page...

the one after she swallows a cow,
Reese pointed to the lady and yelled, "Mommy!"
I looked at her and calmly said, "What?"
"Mommy!" she yelled again.
I gave her a couple more chances with, "Wait, who is that?"

She never did change her response. Apparently she's noticed a little bit of the weight gain! At least it stopped at swallowing the cow and didn't quite get all the way to the horse. Maybe that will be "mommy" next week.

Yikes!

Lucky for her I have forgiven her because of how stinkin' cute she is! (In my totally unbiased opinion of course!) Just last night she found some jewel type stickers and wanted me to put them on her ears because she thought they were earrings. I lifted her up to a mirror to show her what it looked like and her face just beamed. She couldn't stop smiling and saying "pretty". She was all about posing for pictures too (which is rare these days). I told her to say cheese for the camera and she even crossed her legs. She's so dang girly and I LOVE IT!

She is so cute. Is she ready for baby sister? Shelby had a little bit of a rough time when Robin came but it didn't last to long. I can't wait to hear this new ones name.

That is so hilarious! She is just too, too, too cute! Isn't it fun have a little girl around the house?

Haha, kids can be so brutal! For what it's worth, I think you look great! :) I lover her girly-ness too, so fun! And her hair is getting so long!

Love the stories! I guess after I was born my brothers kept asking my mom when she was going to have the baby? Ha ha, I think that may be worse than being accused of swallowing a cow!

Just so you know, you look great pregnant, but that is hilarious that Reese said that. And, we got our girls ears pierced when they were 6 months, and girls with little earrings are just so cute, even when they are stickers. She is a cutie and not too much longer and you'll have double the fun!

They used to have those jewel stickers that you were supposed to put on your ears like earrings. Remember those? Maybe Reese needs some... She is dang cute! You may be biased, but it's still true!

Kids are the only ones who can say what they think! I am sure she meant it in a loving way. I bet you look so cute pregnant. I wish I was there to give you some encouragement! I just had an idea.

Rachel, this was so funny, but SO NOT ACCURATE! You are such a cute pregnant lady with a nicely rounded belly and cute skinny body everywhere else! I mean it. You look great. Reese is looking so much older these days. Don't let her grow up anymore okay? This is all happening way too fast, isn't it?

Thanks for the heads-up. I'll avoid pulling out that book for oh... the next 6 months or so.

It's been a long time since I've commented... sorry. I loved the costumes for Halloween, and you are not fat! I can't believe how great you look, seriously! I love the latest posts! 19 days... are you nervous? Excited? Anxious? All of the above?

Hey Rachel. Robbie here. I remembered that you left a post on our blog a few months ago and I never got back to you. It's so good seeing how great your family is doing. Not too long until your next one comes. Your daughter is adorable. Congratulations and I hope all goes well in the next couple weeks.

First, I love that you're reading your daugther a book about over-eating and obesity, and second, Reese is so stinkin' cute.

Okay, my blogger savvy friend... How did you get your blogger friends arranged so you know when they posted last? That's awesome! It must save you so much time.
